The Most Realistic Experience of Any Grand Theft Auto Title

Grand Theft Auto IV's setting, Liberty City, is unbelievablely realistic, full of life, and an absolute sight to see. GTA IV makes you actually feel as if you are in the game itself experiencing the city in person during the late 2000's. From the high traffic jammed roads, the immaculate skyline off into the distance, the airplanes taking off from the airport, pedestrians experiencing life and jogging through parks or playing instruments, and the radio featuring popular songs of many genres from that time period it all feels too real.

The fact that this game was released in 2008 is astonishing with how much detail and work has gone into the city. I still can't believe it. Unfortunately in the past I never gave GTA IV a worthwhile chance. When I decided to install it and give it a serious go finally in 2024 after all these years I shook my head at myself. I knew within the first 10 minutes of free roam driving around and seeing the life of the city and the unbelievable scenery/skylines in the distance I knew this was something special. The detail and design of the entire map/city is still leagues ahead of many new titles in 2024. Being someone who very much enjoys the feeling of being in a big city, this game was able to fulfill that feeling all within a fantasy. There was countless times I'd just park the vehicle and watch traffic go by in downtown and look at all the skyscrapers and vivid lights.

The story is pretty good, falling behind the detail and enjoyment of a game such as San Andreas, although the other aspects of the experience well make up for it. This is without a doubt my favorite Grand Theft Auto title and it makes me have huge standards for the future Grand Theft Auto VI after seeing what these developers were able to design and put together in 2008. The quality is way ahead of its time and nothing about this game feels 16 years old. Just outstanding a must experience for any city lover.

My experience on Grand Theft Auto IV was on a repacked version of the game rather than the official steam copy. The repack coming with necessary mods / original soundtracks to enjoy this game to its best potential. Anyone looking to buy and play this game must look into the required mods and fixes to experience it the way it deserves to be played.

The biggest pro to Hell Let Loose is that you will find yourself uninstalling any Battlefield game from your pc

-Realistic
-Teamwork
-Voice Chat
-Massive Battles
-Incredible Graphics
-Incredible Audio
-Many Roles, you can still be beneficial even without shooting enemies.

This is a 10/10 war shooter. An absolute must play for any fans of war games and shooters taking place on a massive battlefield. The ONLY problem this game has is that it needs some serious work with optimisation. Two years after release it's very unfortunate it still runs as poorly as it does even on top end hardware as it will not take full advantage of your graphics card for consistently high (100+ fps) frame rates.

Buy Hell Let Loose, uninstall Battlefield, Screw EA, support these developers instead, you will not regret it.

The rumor is that, when some play The Sims 4, they really like to make a GIRL sim who is very FIT. Doing this saves them from a TORRENT of problems down the road when the male sim's decide to boot her out of their houses due to her appearance. Getting kicked out makes her have to REPACK all of her belongings that she brought over from when she moved in.

It was so generous of EA to make this game FREE for us all to enjoy. Oh and definitely don't forget about the much better Sims 3 with all the athletic girls you could create on it. They can also be real fit and in good shape just like they can be on The Sims 4. Unfortunately The Sims 3 hasn't been made FREE by EA but it's also a great experience.

It's fun, feels like war, great maps and atmosphere, intense while still holding up for a 2016 release now that we're in 2024

Probably the best Battlefield game that still has official server support. Much better than the others and especially 2042. If I wanted to play a Call of Duty style game I'd play Call of Duty. When I want to play Battlefield with all out warfare, vehicles, destruction, teamwork, I play Battlefield 1.

Buy this when it's on sale for 90% off or better to enjoy, don't support EA, one of the most corrupt and greedy game companies on the planet. You need and deserve your money more than they do but still be sure to pick this up when the price is right.

I downloaded this game on Steam for the same reason you did. To leave a negative review and voice my opinion.

Over 1000 hours total of in-game hero stat play time. I have played Overwatch since 2016 shortly after release, the height of my playtime being throughout 2017 when the game was at its peak. Competitive seasons where I had over 160 hours of playtime on season 4 alone. This game was incredible, nothing was like it. The hero's were mostly balanced (more so than now), strong teamwork, lots of maps, never spent $0.01 on Overwatch except for the initial price of buying the game which was well worth it. I was able to unlock the majority of the content for each hero and multiple golden guns all for free.

I have watched Overwatch get worse and worse as the years went on. Too many new hero's were added that shouldn't have been added. Think all the tank hero's with shields. It got to the point of where the game was nearly a shoot-shield or flank only game as 2 tanks on a team with shields made it that way. Duo tanks in early seasons competitive mode were very balanced before the additional tanks were added. So many hero reworks to try and balance out the game after they added many new hero's, some of which were grossly overpowered and never got a proper nerf. Removal of certain maps from the game, lack of new maps and exciting content for years slowly killed off the player base.

Next up we are in 2022, Overwatch 2 is on the verge of being released. Before it is even released people are complaining. They are removing Overwatch 1 from officially existing and being supported. The "new" game will now be 5v5 rather than 6v6. 1 tank per team rather than 2, as i mentioned before because they ruined 2 tanks per team after adding too many shield tanks, promised PVE content that got cancelled, removal of an entire game mode, and more attempts at hero balancing entirely reworking many and even adding a dps hero into the tank role now. With 5v5 the team with the much better tank is almost guaranteed to win unless you have insane DPS to carry the team. The UI and menu is worse and feels like it's in an alpha test stage compared to what we had before, looks so poor and it is actually unfinished to this day. Overwatch 2 is literally a downgrade in every way possible from what Overwatch was for the first 1-2 years after its release.

Overwatch 2 the free 2 play release. Nearly all the cosmetics and golden weapons that I unlocked (for free) on Overwatch 1 now costs a ridiculous amount of money to unlock even one of the items. You can't download the game and play any hero you want as a new player, you must either spend real money or unlock them after many hours of game time and other ways i'm not even sure of. They managed to release a sequel to what was once, in my opinion, one of the most unique and fun shooters ever released, with less content, worse balancing, a lower player base, and a horrific launch. All of this was to try and trick us as if we are oblivious and stupid so they could monetize the game to try and squeeze out large amounts of money from any potential new players to the game. Judging by the 9% positive, (overwhelmingly negative) reviews on steam as of today, I'm going to say they didn't fool anybody.

Overwatch 2016-2017 was one of my favourite games of all time, I had so much fun with this game in a way that no other game made me enjoy. I spent more time during my awake hours of my life playing it than I want to admit during this time period. If the original Overwatch was released on steam back in 2016, it would be up top on the chart of the Steam sales with 80%-90% positive reviews without a doubt. Another example of what the gaming industry is becoming, Overwatch 2 with its overwhelmingly negative reviews. The companies behind these games being money hungry and trying to squeeze every $ out of gamer's that they can while turning what was once an outstanding game into a money generating application. One day we can hope we will get the opportunity for an Overwatch Classic to be released based on the 2016-2017 version of the game when it was at it's peak that should have never left us if it wasn't for poor decisions and greed.

There's no open world/city like it. Cyberpunk 2077 pushes computer processing and open world technology to the limits bringing us an environment with stunning details and realism at the likes of which we have never seen before. As a bonus they are still updating it to this day, and with future DLC content it's just going to get that much more advanced.

Truly a must play/have for any open world and especially city fans. The details in this world are mind blowing. All the different varieties of NPC's, the skyscrapers, high density traffic, the attention to detail is just unbelievable. Driving around exploring does not get old, and with over 125 hours of gameplay, the entire city, side quests, and areas explored, I still find myself driving on roads and going routes which I don't ever remember being on. This game will push your GPU (yes even the RTX 4090) to the absolute limit, and when you play it you will understand why. Driving or even walking throughout downtown Night City is so immersive and unbelievably stunning you will want to take your time and drive through it slowly to appreciate all the reflections and details. Design your own character, male or female, with lots of customization options to choose from to make them how you want.

The Main quests and side quests are lots of fun with good characters and story building . Game starts off a little slow but gets to be so much fun when you get past the first hour or two. I had a lot of fun doing the side quests and cyberpsycho sightings while leaving the main story till the end rather than rushing through it. So much to explore. Different character builds you can do, whether you're into sniping, melee, pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, smg's, hacking, explosives, sneaking. It has build types for nearly anyone to find their favorite way to build off of.

The game isn't perfect, minor bugs are there. Cars suddenly spawning/appearing when they shouldn't be, driving physics kind of suck and aren't that fun, it seems slow. Gunplay and the fighting is alright but nothing to boast about. There isn't many activities you can do aside from questing/missions in the open world which is disappointing, kind of makes the game feel like there's absolutely nothing to do after completing it all aside from driving around and exploring. The police system is as close to utterly pointless as it gets and is almost just bad entirely because it isn't effective for improving gameplay so it just kind of exists and gets in the way. It's definitely not like Grand Theft Auto which it would be a huge improvement if it was similar.

Overall an absolute must have at 50% off for anyone who enjoys open worlds and wants to push their pc hardware to the limits. I can not wait to see what the Phantom Liberty DLC brings to this game for quality of life improvements which will release in September, I have a feeling we will not be disappointed.

EA has done it again. Even after 1.5 years after release the game still sucks and isn't Battlefield. I bought this game 75% off on sale. For the same price I paid for this mess I could have purchased 13 litres of gasoline and got more entertainment out of that.

Reality is here, it has been since 2011, we will never see or get to play another real/good "Battlefield" title game again. EA/Dice are living in another realm where they have no idea what the players want but think they do. It gets worse every year, and just when you think it couldn't get any worse, EA is beginning to close official server support for their older Battlefield titles, a true f*** you to their true dedicated player base. I hope the new Battlefield franchise rots entirely. EA/Dice have blown it for so long now I don't see it ever coming back and if their next Battlefield title is as horrendous as this is, it's over for them.

If you must try it, buy it on sale 75% off or better. There's enough content in the game for it to be worth that, but the game is still bland and really just something to laugh at if anything. Just remember it took them a YEAR and a half just to kind of at best get this game in an "okay" state to play, do you really want to play and support something such as that?

WARNING: WILL NOT WORK ON LG OLED TV'S WITHOUT WORKAROUND
This NEGATIVE review is going to be directly to the point.

If you own an OLED display (specifically LG) google "EA Sports PGA Tour Dolby Vision" to understand this game will not work at all until you fix it yourself. If you launch this game on your OLED after installing it, your TV will blackscreen and you will either have to ALT+F4 the game, or if it crashes your graphics drivers, restart your pc just to get an image back. You must launch the game on a non OLED display first, disable HDR in the in game settings, now you can play it on your OLED, just don't re enable HDR. EA clearly didn't properly optimize their HDR to work on any LG OLED display, as does every other game creator in the past however many years. Fail

Game is heavily overpriced as expected. Basically if you played EA Sports PGA games that are about 20 years old now, understand that those games exceed this game in every aspect. Custom creation, uniqueness, fun, music, playability. Why can't EA just understand why their best PGA games of all time are the best, and build a new game around them but updated with today's technology. Just laziness and incompetence, one thing on their mind ($$$$$$) not willing to put in the effort that went into their aging masterpieces that are more impressive in every aspect than this 2023 release. 20 years prior to this, we could customize our characters facial/body features, add custom tattoos, custom logos on apparel to make them look nearly exactly how we'd want them to. Now we get to select from a couple of pre-made character model options rather than build and design our own character. Easy example of incompetence and laziness. In case buying this overpriced game didn't cost you enough, EA tries to sucker us into buying in game currency with real life money, as they do on all their other disappointing releases these days. I mean seriously, its a golf game, can't we just buy the Deluxe edition and just own the entire game? You know, like we used to always be able to?

I guess it looks nice, pretty realistic. I mean it's 2023, all AAA titles should so it's not really a positive. I'll continue playing this game and experiencing all the highly detailed courses, but the entire game just lacks excitement or anything really creative that makes me want to keep playing it and bringing me back. I really wish I just asked for a refund right when I wasted 2 hours of my life troubleshooting EA's OLED HDR problem only to come to realize it wasn't even on my end, but EA's incompetence. I was excited to play this game and once I finally got it working, I looked forward to trying it out, only to be left wanting more.

BC2 still looks and sounds great, it also doesn't take much of a computer to max the graphics like it did when it was newer
BC2 still has plenty of players with each game mode and hardcore servers
BC2 is still better than any of the newer Battlefield games and PROBABLY always will be at this rate
BC2 is on steam so you don't need origin
BC2 works with ultrawide monitors and i hear it's great on 4k too
BC2 is the only newer Battlefield game I am willing to pay full price for including DLC's
BC2 has so many different ways to play it you don't get bored easily

This is the third time I have bought this game, the first time on Steam. Anyone who has played this game knows it has a feel to it that the newer Battlefield games do not. Don't hesitate to buy this game again if you're thinking about it, this is one of the only "realistic" shooter/war games that I am able to enjoy these days and I am glad that I bought it again.

L4D2 is the game that EVERY gamer should play at least once or twice.

Imagine:

-Having a game that's over 10 years old, works with all PC hardware error free, can take advantage of any high end gaming monitor on the market without hassle (Ultrawide, 240Hz, 4k, etc), will run great on any up to date PC.
-An active community with almost always a minimum of 10,000 players online, over 20,000 at times.
-Many experienced players with thousands of hours of gameplay, lot's of great people to play with who are in it for the teamwork.
-In game voice support.
-An in game voting system for kicking toxic players/hackers to ensure a great experience every time.
-Having full modding support if that's your thing.
-Graphics that look great and each map sets a different type of mood. (Just look at the screenshots)
-Something that doesn't need to take up 100GB of HDD/SSD space.
-13 Campaigns and 7 gameplay modes (8 If you count singleplayer) versus, in my opinion, being the best.
-A single campaign on versus giving a solid hour or more of team based gameplay that you will want to keep replaying.

Unfortunately since it is an old game sometimes you have to be a little patient getting into a good match depending on the time of day. It can also be hard to get into this game as a complete new player these days as you probably will get kicked if you aren't any good, but that doesn't mean you can't run through the game on singleplayer first to familiarize yourself with how the game works. We all had to learn at one point.

It's actually a pretty basic game but there's so much to learn and always room for improvement. I have so many memories of super lucky game changing plays and other great moments on this game from over 5 years ago! Wikipedia goes into more detail about the campaigns and game modes. This game comes on sale for $2 but it is EASILY worth the full price. There's not even any DLC to pay for! This is a game I will always come back to as it just simply works hassle free. There's no wasting your time trying to make something compatible with this game such as a high end monitor or high end PC. There are games still being released that don't properly support anything over 60Hz or 21:9 resolutions but this 10+ year old game does it all with the vanilla files. For these reasons I will always be a Left 4 Dead 2 player as well as many other veteran players as long as the game stays up and running. We all keep coming back for a reason!
