Fantastic little game that fills its own niche very well.
Plays like a roguelike, with plenty of detailed interactions and atmosphere to make you feel more immersed.
Without spoiling anything about the game, it's very intriguing and mysterious.
(You'll need to add the game's install folder to your antivirus' whitelist to be able to play it)

Great if you like games like Objects in Space, Duskers, and Iron Lung.

feels very good. plays like battlefield, but somehow doesn't have horrible battlefield netcode.
doesn't have crossplay, so you never get laserbeamed by some ps5 player around a corner.

Fantastic with friends, very difficult, requires people that have patience and don't immediately get bored with stealth gameplay (my brothers and my stepdad)

huge note, that something made me not want to buy the game, whenever new content is introduced old content is REMOVED FOREVER. For example, the game comes with little mini-campaigns called Rundowns, and with each update it gives you a new Rundown, and removes the older one forever. This is excusable if gtfo devs keep making content, but whenever they move on to their next project, all previous content isn't in the game anymore.

It keeps testing down and promotes faster content development (probably) but if you ever wanted to fight that big dead space style boss in the trailers you'll never do it because it's not in the game anymore lol

edit: "Since the release of ALT: rundowns, we aren't deleting any more content." ~ paraphrasing from a news thing, but older content is still gone lol

The game is great with friends but when I heard they were releasing search and destroy & industrial frontier as paid dlc I stopped playing it

took them a long time but now it's released
lagging in the pvp modes sucks

about half an hour of silly stuff, definitely a tech demo for the steam deck though

i'm so full of shoehorned battlepass cashgrabs yum

The last update for this game was in 2021. Do not buy unless you have friends to play it with.
