Balatro is fantastic. Even if you don't care about poker, the unique twists and upgrades make it a refreshing change from traditional card games.

Weird Undertale-esque music game with a gameplay loop that continually builds upon itself. With a catchy soundtrack, memorable characters, decent story and funny'ish dialogue this is one that I would recomment picking up on sale

One of the best rogue-like games I have ever played. Great visuals, combat, upgrade system, soundtrack, voice acting and still continues to be a fresh experience even after 40+ hours in

A soulsucking, grimy, depressing journey that will really make you question humanity as you try to be a good father

A simple rpg rogue-like, hack & slash perfect for couch co-op or intoducing non-gamers to the genre.
Pros:
Humorous dialog
Simplified RPG system
Cute & Colorful graphics
Simple combat with recognizeable enemy patterns
Rogue-like permadeath
Deaths/Wins resulting in changes to the town Ditto
Variety of toys which for differing ranged playstyles
Co-op with combined inventories but separate equipment

Cons:
Occasionally buggy
Couch co-op only
Somewhat limited "replayability"
Map navigation can be frustrating (looking at you purple monster walls)

My wife and I spent last night playing for about 5 hours and enjoyed it. She is a casual/mobile gamer and was initially put-off by the simple graphics and combat by thinking it was a childrens game. We had a great time Sword of Ditto though and had 1 failed run (died at 1st anchor) and 1 succesful run (defeated Mormo in what I assume was the darkest Ditto timeline) Mormo's castle had a lot of intense moments with ass-saving level-ups and food drops. Puzzles can be a challenge from time to time with several variations of
-Hit all the switches
-Hold the point
-Remote controlled moving platforms
-Place enemy drops on point
all while throwing mobs of enemies with various attack patterns at you. Combat can be chaotic at times, and my wife had dificulty following her character through crowds of enemies performing attack animations at us. I would recommend Sword of Ditto for both hardcore and casual gaming couples. I purchased it at 20% off via pre-order and feel that I got my money's worth.

Do you like rogue-lites?
Couch co-op?
Zombies? Canada?
Bandits? Oregon Trail?
Shopping Carts? Dogs with shotguns?
Car-throwing body builders?
Exploding anime princesses?
Party-mudering psychos in hockey masks?

If you answerd yes to any of these then you'll DEFINITELY be interested in Death Road To Canada (DRTC)

DRTC is an arcadey beat em' up/ shoot-em up zombie survival game with semi-randomised stat building, loot management, random encounters & choices, and hilarious writing. Combat is a little floaty and reminiscent of older SNES beat em ups, and weapons vary from the standard (fists/paws, tools, kitchenwares, sporting goods, bladed weapons, guns, etc.) to the crazy (bigass shotguns, miniguns, wizard staff, airhorns, mjollnir, etc) and each his vary levels of attack and energy cost. Every playthrough is unique and you'll find different characters, weapons, cars and locations every playthrough.

The only downside I can see is the sub-par follower AI. Followers can be set to Attack, Defend, or Running and while the AI does a great job at keeping them useful and alive, they occasionally bite off more than they can deal with.
