This is a decaffeinated Monster Hunter. It's not bad. The story is quite good. But, if you can get it on discount, is always better. I would really recommend it :D

I just positioned her, so she is fishing on my recycle bin, so, it looks like my trash is the treasure fish of others :D

I tried the demo the day they gave me the chance to play it. It felt really easy and boring and the story was as always "The girl that was the key to everything and was more important than you". So yeah, I'm not spending $50 on this game...

Great game. Not so long, but if you love Metal Slug, this is a must on a sale :D

Great game. I bought this game on the Switch and played it with some friends. Now, I got it on the PC, to use it on the Steam Deck, to play it again with some friends.

Played it back on the PSX. Platined it here too. Great game still. Shame they added all those stupid things like save anywhere or rewind. Never used it.

PS: This is an emulated game, don't pay it full price, only on sale.

It is cheap. It has some fun moments. Nothing much. If you can get it on a sale, it is worth it. I paid like 5 bucks for the full game with DLC, so yeah, I would recommend it on a sale.

As someone who has been playing Monster Hunter for some years already (Started on the 3DS with MH4Ultimate), I can tell you these are the biggest issues for me, and why I would not recommend it, as it is right now:

1. This game runs like sh,t. These are my SPECS:

CPU: I9 13th gen.
GPU: NVidia RTX Ti 3090 24Gb.
RAM: Corsair 64Gb 4200 MT/s
SSD: Corsair MP600 1Gb.
MB: Tuff Gaming WIFI II
PSU: 1000W Gygabite

So yeah, the GPU it's a little outdated, but this game runs awfully. 60FPS barely on High, on medium it runs better, but unless you use DLSS, you will never get 60FPS. It stutters a lot, and it looks kind of MEH compared to World or Rise.

2. It can turn off your entire computer out of nowhere. This happened to me once, and I barely have 8 hours playing. I was entering the new city and my entire PC shutdown. No reason, just did. I thought it could be the computer itself, perhaps the temp. NOPE. I found lot of other users having this same issue. And, also as proof If you look at my games, you can see I played The First Descendant on Ultra for over 1 month, no issues at all even with Ray Tracing. This is, once again, an issue with the game itself and their coding.

3. This game is too easy. Granted, all MH without the DLCs are easy. But, this one really took the cake. And you can say "Ohhh, but you barely did one or two missions". Yeah, and in MHGU, you would be on HR 2 and you would have to make new armor to survive, sometimes calculate what you were doing or how to move not to die or how to hit. I am a Charge Blade Main, and in this game, if you use the SAW AXE with focus, it makes it so easy to actually flinch or down any kind of monster. Really hope to change this if I get to finish this game and see this changes on higher rankings. I will edit this part if all of this changes at by the end.


For now, I will keep enjoying RISE, but I bought it just to have it on my rooster of games so when they release the DLC I have to only pay for one thing, or if they fix all the issues, so I can enjoy it, really enjoy it, instead of doubting if this game could burn my computer, just because of the bad programming.

PS: Tried the beta some months ago, and it run like sh,t too, but I thought this was gonna change once they released the game. It seems it didn't.

We all know why we the negative. I'm gonna go download the original ENCORE, over the high seas on my PS3.

It was cheap, it was entertaining. I can't complain :D
