First of all, ive never played one of the previous TXR so i cant compare that title to the others.

For an EA titel you got alot of content to get stuck in this game for hours, im not very paying that much attention to the story so i cant really give a review on that. You can skip the cutscenes and rush trough the dialouge also very fast thats what i can say.

Mainly youre driving on the Highway and face your opponents in SP Battles so dont expect any variation in the game concept itself, for me because of the huge content its not really getting lame after some hours. What i like is that you can battle anyone on the highway even the traffic cars. The AI is personally for me a bit too weak, yes they sometimes ram you, drive agressive and try to smash you into traffic cars. still when you get used to there behavior they are easy to beat. Ive lost only 7 battles so far by 100+ races so any option to increase the difficulty would be welcome.

The mainmenu and submenu is very simple and has everything important you need. No useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or tons of submenus. maybe its a bit confusing at the beginning if youre playing with controller i needed a bit of time to get used to it. I like the perktree and how you can decide on yourself what you want to unlock with your progression of the game very nice thats what i like alot here.

The tuning variation is also good for an EA title maybe in the future there are comming more cars/tuning parts but if not i would not be mad. I dont need a huge amount of tuning parts for each car. the only thing i would like to add are brand decals but i dont know how this would work with licensing.

The Music is not my favorite in the Game because it will repeat very fast. Ive just muted it and have my InitalD tracks on my playlist.

I discovered one bug in this game that I cant hear my own car sound in 3rd person view. fromn 3 starts of this game 2 times no sound and one time ive got sound. in bumper/hood view its always fine.

Also when you comming from the Edobashi JCT that the C1 inner and outer loop are switched? maybe its a mistake or not im not sure fact is when you take the inner loop exit it´ll remain on the outside loop of the map and vice versa.

Im looking forward to the full release of this game, i am having a blast with it. its simply well made and you just have to smash the gas. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thats how i like my games.

if you hate yourself, have a gambling addiction and youre a masochist this game is perfect for you. otherwise i would not recommend to play this game one second, took me many hrs to realise that.

this game is still a buggy s h i t mess. everytime i open the game i want to instantly close it again. give the license back to kt you f u c k i n g ea idiots.

the menu is the badest thing ive ever seen in my entire life after clicking into a tab in the menu you have submenu after submenu. which is maybe on the console a thing but on pc absolute s h i t.

graphic is badder than dr2 and still on a RTX 4070 ive microstutters.

just a few real stages like 0-2 real stages per rally which is really poor and as a german the CER is only in czech which is a joke you guys didnt had to rush the cer release but you know ea is just lazy to give us what we want, no arena stages like we had in the kt games. even for the "long" amout of rally events 9 stages are just a joke.
In Generations we got 13-15 which was nice.

EA is beeing EA with the Rally Pass b u l l s h i t ive moved away from F1 Games bc this d u m b avatar and game pass s h i t. the helmet and overall designs are not even a cent worth.

The best part of this s h i t s h o w is that you cant have a normal career like in the KT Games where youre part of a team, have your name/co-driver on the glass and the team overall. You even cant rebuild the liverys of the cars in the editor. For me it is an important point bc im a career player and not an online competitor. the AI (Keith "lovely" Taylor) in this mode got instantly muted he is just an anyoing piece of S H I T. Thanks to ea for adding and removing things we dont even ask for. Ive bought it for 15€ in the sale and not even that amount of cash its worth it save your money.

this will be the last game ive bought from ea and any ea fanboy who gives this piece of cr ap a thumbs up is just delusional and part of the whole problem why the big publishers are spit ting on us gamers and release crap game after crap game.

Here we go with my revised review to have a better overview.

First of all I was pretty excited and looking forward to the release to see how the devs have improved the game since the demo. Unfortunately it hasnt turned out to that what i was hoping.

im going to start with the positives anyway.:

- The Soundtrack is very well made and is nice to have in the background while freeroam or racing.

- Graphics are fitting for me aswell the car model seems very good.

- The Sound of the Fairlady is very nice, I drive a 350z by myself and it fits great.

- The Map is small and made with much love.

So now we are moving on to the "negatives" yes it is early access, yes its there first racing game ever made.

- the only thing about the graphics i dont like is it is very blurry.

- you cant move trough the menu with the controller and have to use the keyboard ( PS4 Controller) gotta get myself a Xbox to see if there are differences.

- A custom Handbrake will not work (G923)

- The Game is not working very well with a G923 the car will not initiate a Drift even with different setups ive tried.

- Custom Controller Bindings the arrows up, down, left, right are basically all arrow 4 that causes when pressing the button 4 different things are going to happen at once. (PS4)

- Some Drift events are bugged i just cant drift while i have no problems in freeroam.

- The Grip events the AI (for me personally) is stupidy fast and i just cant keep up with them.
(had to crash them off the road to win the races, maybe im just bad lmao)

- If you have ESP on you cant accelerate and turn in the same time the car will immedately stop or just going straight.

- making a custom setup with a controller will cause that the half of the bindings arent working after closing and opening the game.

- when the transmission is set to automatic the reverse gear isnt working even after pressing the brake button twice.

- even with abs and tcs on the car will go into a slide while braking.

the negatives here are much much more but i hope that you guys are willing to improve and i gave you a good look into the game and my opinion. still looking forward to the full release

Neutral:

-The Manga Story yes its an Jdm game and its a nice idea to tell a story that way. there will be many people out there who will like the style. I didnt like it in NFSU2 and i dont like it here much more either. but thats not a negative only my look about the storytelling.

Update Hotfix 1.1:

-The Braking feels much more smoother now

- They increased the power of the 350z. I can feel the difference its better now.

Ive played trough the complete Prologue now.

I have to apologise due to my own stupidity, the ps4 controller isnt set up automatically by the steam controller settings ive to enable it first. After ive done that the car feels very very great to handle and the bindings are working fine. Also the issues with the automatic reverse are now solved.

I would give that Early Access a solid 8/10. Now ive gotta go rewire my entire brain to solve the stupidity. thanks for reading and enjoy the game give it a shot its worth it!

Hotfix 1.2

They fixed the issue with the Esp.

Dont understand the decrease on the driftpoints though. maybe here is the key like in nfsu1 that you can choose between easy, medium and hard. the driftraces are way to easy for me and i would guess a lot of people out there who got familiar with the games physics.
