Extremely relaxing and enjoyable puzzler!

It's the first TR I've actually played, although I'm avare of all of them, and even watched my buddy struggling through one of the earliest.
And surprisingly I love it! For all that matter, action and platforming is so not my thing, but here it made soooo easily to grasp and follow you won't be able to resist even. The story might be not that original (huh? who said FarCry 3?) or smart or whatever - but it doesn't really matter: it's just it is SO talentedly assembled it won't let its grasp off of you - I even had to make a certain amount of effort to divert from the main plot to do some side missions...
The game is mature. It's bloody, it's gory, it's brutal, it swears, it even has some really badly spoken russian in there. It is good entertainment.

After the sequel came out I decided to run through both of them, from the very beginning.

As close to the classic adventures as it just could be nowadays. Deep, hilarious, original, with wonderful voice acting and half a dialogues options just to crack you up laughing. Yes, there are some minor glitches and some quite unobvious solutions - but hey! That's classic too!
