Playing HL2 many years ago as a kid was such an exciting time, it really felt like a groundbreaking game. This gives me the same feeling as an adult. I get so lost in the world, it's so beautiful and immersive. The physics really sell it. I have to keep reminding myself to not physically walk around the room I'm in. If you have a headset, it would be insane to not have this game. If you don't, this will make you consider getting one.

I preordered this game and was a bit disappointed on release. I tried it out and then set it aside for a good six months. In that time it greatly improved and in it's current state, it's a lot of fun. It looks as if it will continue improving as well!

Highly competitive, unique, complex and well balanced multiplayer game. It took me 200 hours to feel like I'm sort of maybe ok. Because it is difficult, the players are generally a more mature, cooperative, and dedicated crowd than super popular multiplayer shooters like tf2, CoD, etc which is nice.

not bad for a freebie. Had some issues (hence the developer response), were eventually resolved after several months...

A uniquely captivating game... I'm not one for storyline in games. I really couldn't care less. But you can't not be invested in the story of this game. And the whole being-in-the-middle-of-warring-factions vibe is always good
