I heard a ton of buzz about Balatro being a GOTY contender and thought it was a meme. So I bought this when it was on sale, even though I had no idea how to play poker whatsoever. Didn't know what the different hands are (full house, flush, etc.), but this game taught me in a real simple way, and eventually as I got some good jokers, everything clicked for me.

9/10, absolutely recommend this game if you like rogue like games and card games, even if you don't know ANYTHING about poker

fun as hell

made a wand that made the game crash consistently, so i had to purposefully nerf it so i can continue playing

wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as i did, but man am i glad i didn't drop it after dying the first 8 times. 100% recommended if you want a more realistic zombie survival game instead of an arcade-y one

honestly probably the best game from software's ever made

it has its pros and it has its cons. solid combat that could be improved, good graphics, and i enjoy the skill trees for the weapons. however the other players make it hard for many people to stay and play, as they tend to exploit the game to the point where it brings others down. regardless, i still enjoy it and recommend it when it goes on sale

never has assassinating your neighbor's heirs in order to fracture their kingdom felt so good

a supremely fun mishmash of jet set radio, mario kart, and dash of mirror's edge

prepare to get sweaty and sore arms from playing the first few maps, definitely a good workout game

fallout 3 has noticeably dated since it first released, but it stills holds up as a firm entry in the fallout series
