While gameplay changes may be hit or miss for long time fans of the series, I personally loved how fast paced matches can be. Visuals and sountrack as outstanding as well, with my biggest gripe being online lobbies, which often get in the way of matching with an opponent, but once you are in a match, Strive's netcode definitely shines, enabling seamless matches even at considerable latencies.

A great game with seemingly endless emergent gameplay opportunities.

Supergiant created an awesome world and delivers both solid gameplay and great narrative, with a story that adapts to your choices and results, along with a series of companions that feel very unique, both in their gameplay mechanics as with their personalities and backgrounds.
