Resonite is a creation engine with a side of socializing. It's a multiplayer game engine.

This is NOT VRChat. It will never BE VRChat. If you come here expecting ANYTHING LIKE VRCHAT YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME.

That said, there are places here to just hang out and enjoy company, vibe somewhere, or just rest and relax in an environment. But also, underneath it all is a totally open to you creation engine where if you decide you want to make that ocean purple you can just DO THAT. No opening Unity, no making new textures, just pull out a tool, click, insert color, bam. Purple ocean. This creation engine also has a very robust system for creating whatever you want. Folks here have made entire games you could release alone on Steam inside Resonite. Never touched Unity, Godot, Unreal, or whatever. It's all inside, and it's constantly updating with new ways to work.

That said, make sure to understand that consent for doing anything is key.
And I mean anything.

This software is dead.
If you're a cryptobro looking for the software behind NCR, you should probably do more research on NCR before you invest. It has been banned by many crypto communities, generally referred to as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and it's value has plummeted. The owner of the coin has done nothing except empty promises on a bottom dollar.
If you're looking for a community or an alternative to VRChat/Chillout/etc, that has moved to Resonite.

If you want statistics to back things up, NeosVR had $9k in Patreon subs.
YDMS (Resonite's Founding Company) was announced, it dropped to $7k. YDMS got upwards of $5k in a few weeks.
Over the course of the following month it overlapped and NeosVR sat at 5k while YDMS went to 6k.
Then Resonite was officially announced... NeosVR Patreon sits at 5k and declining...
Resonite sits at $14,660 at the time of this review.
Resonite is still unavailable to the public and has this much support. Let that sink in.

Meanwhile, if you mention Resonite, YDMS, the future of NeosVR with any uncertainty, or ask too many questions, you're banned for FUD from NeosVR's primary channels such as their Telegram.

You want crypto? Invest somewhere else for the love of god. You want Neos? Go to Resonite.

There is no future here.

You have been warned.

TL;DR MARKED AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW

So I'm a big fan of Mecha games. All kinds. I didn't buy New Gundam Breaker, as I knew I would have a bad time with it due to Sunrise and Bam-Co hating their American audience. I knew of Konami's track record. Which is terrible. But I've played Zone of the Enders before. I loved it. And I thought, what better way to enjoy the one ZoE game I haven't played, than in my VR Headset?

So I didn't ore-order like a good boy. I waited for first reviews. Which all talked about it having broken audio, and broken controls.

No big deal, I can fix it. If needed, I can directly change the files to MAKE it work. Shouldn't be too difficult for a programmer, right?

Aha...

Audio issues could not be fixed because this game FORCES the first audio device it recognizes to be used.
Even if the device is;
1. Not plugged in.
2. Driver uninstalled.
3.All traces removed.

You have to reinstall the game.
Oh, what's that? The configuration files are saved even after uninstall? Well lets delete them.
Nope. Now it recognizes a microphone as a playback device.

Alright. No VR. I can still enjoy the game.
...
You would think.
Still no Audio outside of VR Mode.
Unless I uninstall and unplug every single audio device I have except for the one I'll be using for the game, I get no audio.
Okay. I'll just pump the audio through the controller it wants to use through a DAC and into my headset. I'm determined.
Screeching Audio.

Okay, lets just... play the game. I'll have some music in the background.
...
You can guess by my hours played how well that went.
TL;DR

>This port can drown in molten steel.<

(Oh, and yes. I did try editing the game files to fix my problem. But, anybody who knows what Denuvo is, knows how well that went.)
