Everyone should have a personal medical kit capable of handling minor trauma prior to EMS arrival. I recommend the North American Rescue Ready Every Day (RED) Kit - Home or Personal kits as being one of very few kits that actually have good supplies. Only thing I would add for one patient and non-trained responders would be more 4x4 gauze pads.
