The controls are perfect. There is nothing to change about this game now that the performance bugs have been fixed. An incredible value at any price under $5. You will get dozens of hours easily and over a hundred to complete the game fully with acheivements.

This game is really rewarding to play. The hook of unlocking new cards which can appear is really satisfying and it keeps me coming back.

Probably the best FPS RPG of all time. Clearly influenced by Pathways into Darkness and Rainbow Six, this survival FPS RPG has a little bit of everything without falling into the tropes of levels and skill points. It's got excellent sound design! It's developed by Ukrainians!

I had no idea what I wanted when I used to lament that MMORPGs had become stagnant. Blizzard really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up by not committing to project Titan and releasing Overwatch instead... I think their shareholders will be angry when they realize what is going to happen to World of Warcraft now that New World has set the pace for the next decade.

Super immersive in a way that Factorio never was. Scratches that engineering and refactoring itch.

This is definitely the hardest Serious Sam I have played and it makes for a lovely coop experience as always. In many ways Serious Sam 4 is the Doom 4 we never got. I love the pace of the gameplay and the weapons are mint.

The story is terrible. Jacob Seed playing Jesus is such a played out premise, that it really makes this game feel like a tech demo. The story doesn't have good hooks to get you back into presence of their main characters, so it forces you to go unconscious (you have no choice) repeatedly so that you can be "caught" only to repeatedly "escape" in some of the most repetitive ways. One example of this repetition is Jacob Seed's weird tactical ops training simulator with ghostly apparitions that take one shot to kill. It is the same exact mission every time and you have to do it a few times.

It's a visually pleasing game and doesn't break the immersion too often for glitches like missing textures. The physics are basic but fairly consistent throughout the game and vehicles act how you would expect them to (cars, helicopters and planes). Cars have a bit of an issue turning where you can get some weird under-steer, but it is pretty normal for action games to have sub-par driving. The physics reminded me a lot of the Just Cause series and some of the objectives this time around felt like an ideological copy-paste (destroying giant red silos, ahem).

Where this game shines is in sheer chaos. Imagine this very real scenario you can experience in Far Cry 5:
An AI is driving down the road in a large technical with an M60 Machine gun on the back with a bad guy aiming down sights coming your direction. They engage! Luckily, friendly AI are driving down the road in the opposite direction and they form up and spring to your aid. But from the side of the road, a bear gets distracted from it's fresh wolf kill and begins mauling your first AI party member. Unfortunately, for the bear your second AI party member autonomously drops a bomb on it from a plane he is flying in the sky killing the bear. In the midst of the explosions, you back up from the road only to be bitten by a venomous snake which blurs your vision and turns everything green momentarily forcing you to turn your focus on the snake. Upon killing the snake with a bat, some more enemy AI show up on a 4x4 and launch an RPG into your vehicle transforming it into a giant fireball. You pull our your flame thrower and torch all of the AI around you, saving the technical truck, but you catch the forest on fire! The forest is now blazing and spreading quickly, killing anything in its path... you need to make a quick getaway. But your first AI party member is down on the ground having been mauled and is in need of rescue. You run over to your first AI party member, revive them and hop up onto the M60 Machine Gun, your AI party member automatically jumps in the driver seat and starts driving to your next objective destination.

Isn't that sick?

They should make this game free to play and then if it catches on again, find ways to monetize the further development of the game.
