Red Mist

I have been gaming under the name "Red Mist" since 1996 when I first logged into the MSN Gaming zone 25+ years ago. Several guilds and clans have seen me come and go, with a lot of my time being taken up with TacOps FPS teams gaming with TOR, w4 and BTC in the early 2000's. Also I was one of the many taken up with MMORPG games staring with Asherons Call on a 56k modem. That continued with AC2 and WoW where I was proud to complete most of the end game content during the "vanilla" era of 2004 to 2006.

I have always tried to have one FPS game and one MMORPG game on the go. During the 2010's The FPS games have mostly been the Battlefield series of games until I dropped off after disliking Battlefield 1, though I have been enjoying Planetside 2 since 2012 (Real_Red_Mist on Vanu) as they still keep releasing updates! Another long time game is World of Warships, where I have been in several clans and participated in many clan battles (Real_Red_Mist). My current game is The Planet Crafter, a simple but highly enjoyable game.

Searching for a suitable MMORPG has been difficult as I have tried Black Desert, Elder Scrolls, Lord of the Rings, Path of Exile, even going back to WoW (Ghostlands), New World (Nyx) and Divinity: Original Sin 2. Several times completed Baldurs Gate 3, but still searching for a new MMORPG that works for me.

60 Hours played
Well, after 46 hours with all achievements completed I have to say - buy this game! Its one of the best 'build a base and survive' games I've played in years. Its more than worth the full price I paid of £20 for the experience and constant wonder at what you will be building next to further the planet's condition. Watching the areas go green as you play is a delight. I will be buying the DLC to continue my fun.

I urge you to buy and don't use any internet spoilers. If you need a hint, you will eventually get a message in your inbox to help you. Flounder around and enjoy the ride, one of the few games to take your time with and have a true feeling of accomplishment once you get to the end.
