Less than 2 hours in and already hoodwinked a sheriff, heckled a stage show, been in a bar brawl, attempted a break in, formed a posse, been captured by a native tribe, and performed a daring heist... and now I'm sitting on a crate full of dynamite. This already feels like a real classic epic adventure and I've only just started!

I'm so happy that at 42, games like this can still draw me in and keep me playing until 3am if I'm not careful. Qud is very hard to put down because there's always something else juuust around the corner. The world is unique and fascinating and deeply entwined with the games mechanics. Truely wonderful! Live and drink!

Update: Just finished! Loved the last chapter especially. Puzzles really came into their own there. Loved my time with this game!

Not that far in yet but already it's revealed itself to be a remarkable adventure. Full of juice and polish, fun characters and dramatic, ah... drama. Already feels like an instant classic!

Edit: Just finished my first playthrough. 420 2 Goes so far above and beyond what you expect in every way, they injected so much more comedy than just the premise alone and every level is full of unique fun mechanics and crazy surprises. Loved every second!

Joe's games feel so effortlessly hilarious. The snicker-per-minute is off the charts here. Honest, unpretentious humour set against beautiful renaissance backdrops. What's not to love?!

Unique and captivating. It's a game that you just let wash over you. Each scene is filled with wonderful little details to notice, a thousand tiny touches that come together to make it something you've never quite seen before. Naive art in game form, elevated by the intense soundtrack. I'm a big fan!

Instantly charming. Truly what indie games are all about, every element made by hand, and stitched together into a world of lovely offbeat folk weirdness reminiscent of Northern Journey if you've played that (which you should as well!)... Judero's worth the price of admission just to vibe along to the music and meet characters. The writing's one-of-a-kind and the voices make you feel you're in a personal puppet show by the creators. Try out the demo and if you can't get enough of the accents like me, jump right in!

Really amazing that a solo dev can deliver what AAA studios really struggle to do. An intriguing, tight, and terrifying game that knows its genre and excels at it. It wears its influences on its sleeve, and if you're a SH fan you'll feel right at home, but it'd be a mistake to think of it as a clone. It has its own world, its own tone, and it does what it does in a simple but effective way that most big budget titles fail to capture.

Something about the text parser makes games like this so immersive. I think just the way you have to think about what you're doing more really brings you into the world. If you haven't tried a text parser game this is the perfect one to dip your toes into. Persist and you'll be rewarded!

Crimson Diamond itself is a work of art, beautifully pixel arted in luscious 16 colours! I love this, partly for the nostalgia reasons, but also the contrast of light and shadow, and brilliant colour that it brings.

I wanted to leave an early review to support this kind of game getting made, and can't wait to dig into the mysteries more!

The best northern comedy since Yorkshire Gubbins! Also the best northern cosmic horror since Hob's Barrow! Brilliant from start to finish!
