Well produced but very short visual novel game about a mage's attraction to his elven party member in a fantasy setting. The story and characters are decent considering the short game length. One of the endings is light NTR though, which some people don't like.

An H-puzzler with a bit of a story where you play as a new resident in an apartment building known for its orgies. Connect the boxes in order in a continuous line to unlock the CG and progress the story. There are 4 mini-stories with 5 stages each, for a total of 20 CGs. While it is a reasonable option for this price point, it does not offer much in the way of story or replayability, and if AI art is not your thing you might want to give it a miss.

Okay, hear me out. Yes, the game is very short, has essentially no story or character development, and only a handful of static CGs. However, you have to admire its dedication to getting to the point quickly, and the scenarios presented will appeal to those who are into it. The writing actually helps in this regard. Plus, it has a full gallery, which is always nice. Worth it if this appeals to you and it is on sale.

-Combat is so poorly developed, it really shouldn't have been included at all. You never unlock any new skills, so it's just all about trading basic attacks with random dodge chance throwing a monkey wrench in.

Conclusion
A smaller-format game about an apprentice witch who needs to gather "energy" from the local men in order to pass her last test. You are given a limited number of days to do this, with a set number of actions each day (an item can be purchased that gives extra actions, but is very expensive to farm). The play area is very small, so you will explore the town, find the potential "donors", and then spend your actions to do tasks for them to progress. Most quests take several days to complete, so go around starting as many as you can first and try to progress evenly to avoid running out of time.

This adds a bit of interest to the game, but also serves to highlight the limitations. While you can do the quests in different orders, you need to do every quest to get the only good ending, so there is no replay value. Don't expect much depth in the quests or plot either. Finally, we get to the worst part of the game - the combat. It is utterly bare-bones, with just a basic attack/block/use item system. The only real variation comes from the annoyingly high dodge chance of some monsters, which can cause you to lose fights out of nowhere. The fighting is such a chore, it would have honestly been better to just skip it. A lot of games that don't want to develop the fighting system just have you auto-defeat enemies by running them over, treating them as more of a fetch-quest. This would have been less tedious.

Overall, it is a sort of unique and largely well done small format game. Recommended if on sale and you like the aesthetic and shorter RPG-lite games.

Conclusion
Dark Tales Town has added another game to its Witch series with this entry, a short game with corruption themes that serves as a prequel to the other games and describes the backstory of the "Puppeteer" and how they came to be in possession of the Dollhouse. Gameplay is very simple - find 5 hidden objects in the background of a scene to initiate an animated scene with the female character depicted. Once this is done, you enter an interactive scene where you can adjust the clothes and accessories they are wearing before initiating "activities" with them. Do the "activities" until you fill up the energy bar, then give the "energy" to the Scarecrow to progress your own transformation. The first two characters must be done in a set order, but after that you can do the remaining four in any order. Once you have completed all 6 characters, an additional interactive scene is unlocked.

If you liked the art style for the previous Witch games, you will probably like this as well. There are no issues with the gameplay, but the game is very short and I feel like the game with the "Puppeteer" theme could have had deeper gameplay, maybe with an element of stalking or hunting the characters while gradually corrupting them until they can be summoned to the Dollhouse, rather than just a single hidden object scene. That said the game is enjoyable, has good art and scenes, and is appropriately priced considering its length.

Nice little game with good scenes, a bit of story, and reasonable mechanics. That said, it's a clicker. While some people really love these, I would never suggest playing a clicker game unless you can set up an auto-click macro unless you want a repetitive strain injury and buying new computer mice. Would recommend.

-All progress is lost after a limited number of in-game days, with no prior warning or option to save.

Conclusion
While the in-game art is of a reasonable quality, the gameplay in this title is pretty awful. It consists of a finite number of days where you seek to increase your roommate's affection by giving her gifts and cooking food for her. This can be a successful trope to build a game around, but the issue here is the lack of variety and features. Everything costs money to do. There is only one way of earning money, which is a boring, timing-based minigame with no variation built in. It gives you very little money (at least at first) compared to the costs of things you may want. All of this serves to unlock just a handful of scenes, and when you hit the last day, everything just resets from zero, including the scenes you can view. This game badly needed a few other minigames to earn money and either a gallery mode or at least a manual save feature. As it is, there are a lot of better options for nearly identical games that don't cost a lot more and will be a much better play experience.
