as good as It Takes Two, if not better.

Spoiler Warning for the review ahead!

1. Stunning Creativity and Design
From the very start, I anticipated a level design where two players operate in separate worlds, each affecting the other’s realm. To my surprise, this mechanic didn’t appear until the very last level. And when it did, it exceeded my expectations—absolutely fantastic. I only wish that this level were longer.

2. My Touching Moment
Normally, the story doesn’t affect me much, but there was one moment that struck me deeply. In Zoe’s subconscious level, during a phase of the final boss battle, after the duo splits, Zoe tumbles into a seemingly endless abyss of darkness. Almost immediately, Mio embarks on a rescue mission, guiding a glowing owl to reach her. In that scene, Zoe’s world is shrouded in oppressive gloom, while Mio’s light pierces through the darkness distant yet radiant, warm and fiercely determined. Afterwards, when the two reunite, Mio’s light acts as a protective shield for Zoe, fending off every projectile from the hydra.

This moment resonated with me deeply. it encapsulated the essence of friendship. When one is submerged in guilt or pain, a true friend shines like a guiding star in the darkest of nights. like that a lot.

Review Showcase
I've just unlocked all the achievements and felt the need to leave a review.
Let's start with the negatives.
No.1: EAC
This is the worst part. I couldn't play the game starting from the very first cutscene. 90% of my gameplay is offline, indicating that I am strictly a PvE player.
No.2: Gameplay duration
A full NG++ gameplay takes about 30h-35h. NG alone is perhaps only 20h. It's just not enough.
I can't think of any other negative aspects. The rest of the game is perfect in my eyes.

now the good side.
The storyline is captivating and the character development is distinct.
I am a guy, but in the worm hunting mission, when I heard my Rusty saying "I Won"t Miss", I think I CorUM,.
The music complements the battles and the story very well. The variety in weapon and parts assembly adds depth, and the gameplay experience is smooth and exhilarating.

To be honest, my initial pre-order of Armored Core 6 was largely driven by FROMSOFTWARE's reputation and the Hidetaka Miyazaki. I wasn't very familiar with the mecha genre or the 'Armored Core' series.

However, to my delight, the outcome was extremely satisfying and a pleasant surprise.
