This guide aims to list all of the choices in The Letter that affect relationship points, and indicate how many points are gained or lost for the choice. This will hopefully help you plan out your playthroughs to get the romance or epilogue that you want.

Choices that don't affect relationship points are not listed.

For choices that only appear in certain branches, I've only given very basic instructions for how to reach them. If you're having trouble reaching a particular choice or getting an ending you need, check the Flow Chart Guide for more detailed information.

This guide contains unmarked spoilers. Tread carefully if you haven't finished the game yet!

A few notes about how the relationship bars work:

• Each character relationship is two-way -- that is, Isabella's Ashton points are the same as Ashton's Isabella points. The bar for Ashton on Isabella's page should look exactly the same as the bar for Isabella on Ashton's page.
  
  
• For the most part, choices in one character's chapter will only affect that character's relationships. HOWEVER, there are a few choices that affect another character's relationships. I've marked these in the guide in the format "Hannah: -1 Luke", meaning Hannah lost 1 point with Luke.
  
  You can only view the relationship page for a character if you've already played through their chapter, so you won't be able to see the full effects of some choices until later in the game.
  
  (If you want to see this sort of cross-character point change in action, pick "I'm a friend of Hannah" in Zachary's chapter, then go look at Hannah's relationship page -- you'll see her points with Luke have gone down.)
  
  
• Each relationship has a different scale, meaning the maximum number of points you can earn in a relationship varies. For example, you can earn more total points for Isabella/Ashton than for Hannah/Zachary. However, because the length of the relationship bar stays the same, the amount the bar moves when you gain or lose points will differ between characters.
  
  Basically, if you earn 1 point for Isabella/Ashton, and it doesn't look like you gained as much as when you earn 1 point for Hannah/Zachary, this is why. It's still 1 point, I promise.
