This is my run of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on "Mein leben" difficulty. This is essentially the hardest difficulty but with saves and checkpoints disabled - only one life.

DLC: Episode 1 - All-Pro Warrior

I find this much easier than Mein leben for the main story as the DLC is shorter and the areas have very conveniently placed door openings, where you can stand and the enemies will queue up to get shot. The chronicle is split into three chapters between which you are sent to the Main Menu as a form of chekpoint.

Just remember to set the difficulty before starting each chapter as it is reset when you complete the previous one. I forgot, so I had to restart the third chapter, but I still unlocked the achievement.
  • Volume 1 - Captured (0:00)
  • Volume 2 - On the Run (23:40)
  • Volume 3 - Showdown (43:10) | Final Battle - 1:06:10

Feedback and questions are welcome in the comments below. Likes and shares are also appreciated.
DLC: Episode 2 - Ultimate Spy

Needless to say this DLC is very short and easy ... and disappointing. You go to the Moon and you get to see it through the window.

Volume 1 - Gestapo Office (0:00)
Volume 2 - Paragon Film Studios (3:05)
Volume 3 - Gamma Base (7:00) / Boss (10:20)

For the last boss I would recommend that you use a silenced gun like the Pistole to shoot at the wall in the distance to avoid the Kampfhund. Otherwise, it will come to you and expose you to the rest of the enemies. You don't have much time before the oxygen levels drop to zero, so make sure to grab the healthpack as shown at 10:45.
DLC: Episode 3 - Super Soldier

This one isn't as short as DLC2 at least. It's also not very difficult and allows for some stealth which is always welcome to me.

Volume 1 - Blacksun (0:00)
  • 3:50 Note: You have to be quick once you hear the door open, you have only a few seconds until the Supersoldat enters the room. Watch out for the commander. In any case, once you are up on the platform, the exit is free of enemies and close by.
  • 9:40 Note: The lift is a very safe place to stay until you take out all the enemies.
Volume 2 - Kodiak Island (15:15)
  • 31:40 Note: For this battle, make sure to shoot all the explosive tanks before you run into the tunnel. Enemies will often drop in (from both sides) so watch out. The Supersoldaten won't come down so you can leave them for last.
Volume 3 - Final Mission (35:00)
  • 37:40 Note: They will always be alerted once you take out a couple of soldiers. However, if you want to wait a while, they will eventually give up. I don't think they can ever see you until you drop down as long as you use silenced weapons.
  • 43:10 Note: For the last battle, if you don't alert the enemies, the Super- and Ubersoldat may not even spawn. Just stay in the vent and you'll be fine.

Good tactic for this DLC, since you are often expected to sneak through a vent, is to distract enemies by alerting them with a body (without being seen directly) so they all move towards it - and away from where you are supposed to be.

Use the silenced pistol and always make sure to prioritise the commanders so they can't call for reinforcements.
Penthouse Battle - Manhattan

As soon as the level starts, turn right and hide between the beds and the armchair. Use silenced Pistole or Maschinenpistole and try to keep the enemies unaware of your location for as long as possible--ideally until the helicopter arrives.

Once the scripted fight begins or if you get detected, switch to any dual-wield weapon of your choice--I used Sturmgewehr without any upgrades. Don't worry about the drones, they won't attack you in this spot. Enemies will throw grenades always in the same place and the blast wont reach you. Same for the explosive tanks.

One heavy enemy will walk up the stairs at some point. Shoot the explosive tank across and shoot him as best as you can if he survives the blast. Regular enemies will also attack you so take them out as well. Your friends will take care of the rest.

Things can always go wrong, but this is the most reliable method I have found so far. I have successfully passed this battle over ten times now whilst recording this video.
Court House Battle

Update: I have a better method in my Mein leben video above. This one is a bit harder, however still a viable option.

It may not be the best method ever, but so far the best one I have found. I wanted a plan that would work from start to finish without using saves mid-battle, but you can reload if you play on I Am Death Incarnate.

  • Once free, run left to hide behind the metal crates. Stock up on ammo whilst taking out the enemies around the judge.
  • Two enemies will come a bit later on, throwing grenades, you can hide in the corner during the explosions, but you must take out those two enemies.
  • After that run to your right (0:45), grab the armour and three health packs then move quickly to the centre behind cover and take out as many enemies as possible. Prioritise the ones with shotguns as soon as they drop down. They need at least TWO headshots to die.
  • When you hear Engel talking, make sure there are no enemies in plain sight, grab some of the Sturmgewehr on the ground and run to where the judge is - there is armour and plenty of health packs around that area.
  • Wait for the big guy on the right (facing the exit) to spawn and shoot the tanks on his back. Lure the other one and shoot him the best way you can - I recommend dual wield Sturmgewehr at this point. Mine were not upgraded but you should use armour-piercing rounds if you can.
  • As soon as the doors open (2:55), run to your left from the judge's place and turn back towards the small room full of ammo, armour and health packs, then shoot everyone who comes near you - watch out for the dog and the robots. Try to lure enemies into coming to you rather than going to them.
  • When you hear the loud noise of the three big guys spawning run across to the same kind of room on the other side of the second floor. Stock up on grenades, ammo, health and armour. Then be patient taking out the annoying overpowered armoured enemies. They are the last ones left so hopefully you have the whole area to run around if you need to escape. Don't take any chances.
Ausmerzer Final Battle

The first half of the method, where I destroy the heavies with dual-wield Schockhammer is not my original idea - credit goes to Kreeper V.

Recommended weapon setup:
  • Rotor and Ricochet upgrades for the Schockhammer.
  • Supercharge and Battery upgrade for the Laserkraftwerk.
  • Armour piercing and Jungle magazine upgrades for the Sturmgewehr.

First part of the battle is 6 heavies in 3 waves of 2. Use the dual-wield Schockhammer head on for the first two, then hide behind the covers and keep an eye out for regular enemies whilst the next two heavies spawn. Try not to go too much near the gate because this may trigger the bosses to spawn earlier.

Once all heavies are down, run back, turn left and switch to the Sturmgewehr (dual-wield). Clear out the enemies around you. Shoot at the ground near the centre to lure the bosses to come from your left. If they come from your right, hide behind the wall on the stairs and keep shooting in the middle, they will circle around.

Run to the corner where you see ammo and other supplies. Clear any regular enemies and switch to the Laserkraftwerk in one hand, then start charging the shot. You only need 2 fully charged hits per boss (50 ammo) and you have 4 in total (200 ammo) - so don't miss! Keep the Sturmgewehr in the other hand to clear any regular enemies if need be.

The bosses won't attack you from your left if you are in that corner as long as you don't lean. In the very rare cases where they shoot, they will hit the platform above you.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for any remaining enemies after you beat the bosses if you play on Mein Leben. It would be a shame to die now :)

Edit :
here is what I did, I took the content of GAME-TRANSITION and have paced it in GAME-AUTOSAVE0, but then, when I relaunched the game and have been to new game, the first slot (the one i'm always using) is empty. Did I do something wrong ?

Hey @DEIN, I would like to try your method but I'm not sure to understand how its working : do you shut the game before you copy the content of SLOT0 in GAME-AUTOSAVE0 ?
DEIN 10 Aug, 2021 @ 10:59am
@Jill I don't have access to it right now. Why do you need it tho?
Nero 10 Aug, 2021 @ 1:24am
Hi @Dein can you send me your save game?

You can replay it in the same save slot. Some people even said that you only need to replay the last chapter, but I haven't tried it.

Question - to get the achievements for the three DLC episodes, do I have to use a new Save/progression slot (i.e with no perks unlocked) when choosing the difficulty and starting each Volume/mission anew? Or can I use a save slot where my perks are at 100% and I’ve played through the whole DLC on the CMTB difficulty?

Yep, it's Death Incarnate without the saves and checkpoints. Enjoy! :D

About to give this a go. Absolutely terrified. Is this difficulty the same as death incarnate in terms of damage and health?

Thanks! Yep, feel free to use it as you need :lunar2019piginablanket:

You're an absolute legend nekov4ego! Are you alright with me linking these videos/the guide itself to my 100% Achievement Guide?
