Working with The Warden & the Paunch DLC.

I also recommand Rise of the Beastmen -by Zarkis, for more beastmen, and No Wood Elves seeding -by Carferry, and for better AI and the best experience Advanced AI -by CeltiK.

*Update - 1.05 - working with the lastest patch. vampire coast will fight the lizardmen main faciton more.
*Update - 1.04 - balanced the meta even more (see first screenshot).
*Update - 1.03 - out of beta! - Tomb Kings will no longer confederate because of balance, rebalanced dwarfs and greenskins to be more lorefriendly, fixed the confederation bug with the high elves, nerfed norsca hard + all the beta 1.03 changes such as the vannila feel to diplomacy. enjoy!
*Update - 1.03 - BETA UPDATE - Work In Progress - The mod had changed much, it is no longer easy to win diplomacy, High Elves are no longer the powerhoues that destroyed the dark elves, I need to work on the greenskins dwarfs balance and the vampire - empire balance. Norsca balance is needed as well. Tomb Kings can confederate.
*Update - 1.02 - We are no longer using the game scripts! we have our own script for the mod - meaning that the mod is now script compatible !!
*Update - 1.01 - Normal and Easy modes is now playable!



Welcome to Actual Empires!

After countless weeks of ending turns, testing and editing. We present to you a mod that started as a sub mod for Advanced AI by CeltiK, but now is its own separate mod.


What is Actual Empires? -
Actual Empires is a mod that aim to balance the Mortal Empires campaign, but not just that, with this mod you will see major factions stronger and bigger than ever before, just like the game should be.
AE aim to make your game as lore friendly as possible by rebalancing the races, changing economy, relation, turn 1 wars, agreements and more!
You will no longer see non lore-friendly actions like huge Dwarfs and Vampire empires, Bretonnia attacking Marienburg and the orcs gone by turn 60.

- In short term, the races is now devided into four groups - Good, Evil, Neutral and Chaos.
  • Good - These races will ally with other friendly races and fight Evil and Chaos factions etc.
  • Neutral - Netural races will try to stay out of fight while upgrading and defending their settlements.
  • Evil - The evil races will not ally with any other races even other evil races (except orcs and vamps in some cases).
  • Chaos - Chaos races will try to ally with other chaos races and kill everyone including their allies in the end!
Good Races - The Empire, Dwarfs, Bretonnia, High Elves, Kislev, Southern Realms.
Evil Races - Greenskins, Vampire counts, Dark Elves, Skaven, Vampire Coast.
Neutral Races - Wood Elves, Tomb Kings, Lizardmen
Chaos Races - Chaos Warriors, Norsca , Beastmen.


Please note -
  • This mod is a startpos mod so it wont work with other startpos mods.
  • This mod is balanced and tested for Hard difficulty. (But can still be played on normal and easy)
  • You need to start a new campaign to play this mod.


Actual Empires -

I'll now walk you through the changes I've made for each race, and some general changes overall -

-The Empire - Will now be the big empire that you know and love. the AI empire will only start in war with Marienburg for the extra money so it will grow faster. the AI will will control all the empire provinces, The Empire will also ally with Bretonnia, Dwarfs and Kislev, to defend the realms of the "good races".

-Dwarfs - The Dawrfs will now be weaker and fight the defence battle agiant all evil.

-Greenskins - They are now the threat that will roll from the south! by nerfing the dwarfs I allowed the Greenskins to actually shine and put up a fight!

-Vampire counts - will try to stay in Sylvania early game and then fight The Empire mid - late game.

-Chaos Warriors - no changes.. for now.

-Beastmen - Not much has change here, if you want a cool mod that work with my mod that makes beastmen more lore friendly without balance issues then try this Rise of the Beastmen - by Zarkis

-Wood Elves - They will try to ally with the good guys insted of fighting them (like Bretonnia) so no more start wars with Bretonnia. they will also stay in the forest and defend it from all evil. (use this mod No Wood Elves seeding -by Carferry, it will help ALOT).

-Bretonnia - Will no longer fight Norsca so much and wont fight Marienburg in the early game, they will confederate all of Bretonnia under the same banner. also they will not be at war with the wood elves at the start of the game.

-Norsca - They will no longer roll stomp south that much.

-High Elves - They will take full control of ulthuan between turn 60-80 and then go invade the dark elves in Naggaroth. this will be the biggest fight on the map by far because the dark elves will be big if not bigger then the high elves in late game.

-Lizardmen - They will fight the vampire coast and clan pestilens so they will be in war only in lustria. also they will try and ally with the new world colonies.

-Dark Elves - Malekith will unite them all and fight the high elves and the norscans in the north in a huge war. fun times.

-The Skaven - Skavenblight will expand alot more to the southern realms.

-Tomb Kings - Khemri will try to control all the land of the dead, fighting te skaven, orcs and Nagash followers. They are also hate the bretonnians there.


Compatibility-

This is a Startpos mod - so it will not work with overhauls mods like SFO, mods that change the diplomacy are NOT compatible.
Not save game compatible so you'll need to start a new campaign to play this mod.

Sett I know u're busy but updating it now would be great. From what I red on CA blog the last dlc was final, and no major update will come except off some tweaks mechanics from wh3. Current state of campagin is crazy like, for example Marienburg wipe out whole Bretonnia in my playthroug. Same with Reikland in first 30 turn. Please reconsider updating it.
