Achievement info
Completionist
Triggered all of the story in the game

  • You have to activate all story clues in one playthrough in order to unlock this achievement. This includes all motion activated events, proximity based events (simply events), telephones, radios (the grey ones too) and TVs. I did not miss these, so I did not test it, but if you managed to unlock the achievement with missing some of the above, please let us know in the comments.
  • You don't have to 'collect' maps, books and graffitis for this one, but since both would take a full walkthrough I recommend doing them parallelly (see my other guides mentioned below for those).
  • The game saves after every motion activated event, however there's a bit of delay between the end of the event and the actual save. The current version of the game doesn't save anywhere alese, so keep this in mind when tracking the collectibles.
  • Unfortunately there's no counter on how many 'things' you've triggered, so there's absolutely no way of knowing how far ahead you are and how many things are still missing.
  • The game lets you miss ONE thing in order to unlock the achievement.
  • You can backtrack to every missed thing until you enter the bunker at Little Tipworth. That's a point of no return though, so make sure you collected everything before entering.
  • There are some required collectibles after that point, so you won't have a clue if you missed something until it's too late.
  • There's been some reports on the internet that collectibles sometimes doesn't register during action scenes, so try to look at these after they've finished.
Collectibles
There are collectibles in game that give you a separate achievement. You don't have to collect most of these for Completionist, so to save bandwidth and memory I did not include them here, but I've made a separate guide for all of them:
The only exception is the radios, you'll need them here, but in order to unlock Radio Enthusiast too, you'd have to collect all of them before triggering anything else.
Besides these you 'll collect the things below if you follow this guide:
  • 29 Motion activated events
  • 48 Proximity based events
  • 17 Phones
  • 2 Grey radios
  • 5 Tape recorders
  • 7 TVs
  • 5 Computers

You did a great Job making this guide, though I think the developers did a very bad job in letting the player know what to search for...The game looks amazing but the UI is a drama. Even Zelda on my old gameboy did a better job in letting me know what to search for..

Thanks for this amazing guide! I used it to gather the counts of each object in each area and then kept a tally as I went, making sure I had everything before triggering the 'finale' MOTEs. This was a great way to truly experience the discovery elements of the game and yet still achieve the completionist on the first play through.

Hiya! Thanks for the awesome guide! Do you know by any chance if you have to listen to the Red Radio broadcasts until the end? I speedran the Radio Enthusiast achievement and backtracked to the beginning to get the rest of the collectibles, and I was wondering if I have to listen to the radios once again or not.
