The Beginning
So, you've just started Kingdom: Classic and are wondering how the game works. Well, it's simple. Gather money to hire Vagrants to make an army to protect your crown, simple right? Well, not exactly. You may think it sounds very easy, but money doesn't grow on trees, it grows in them. (No, really, you get money for cutting trees) At the start of the game, go through the tutorial for about a few minutes, then restart. This will give you the option to skip the tutorial and give you about 10-15 seconds of extra time and allow you to hire and build whatever you want, rather than doing what the game tells you to do. This is very crucial to the start, because those extra seconds can allow you to explore a bit more to see what's in your world.

Now, let's talk NPCs.

Your Horse
When you start a game, you will have the brown horse. You can find the black horse and in the map while exploring, it will cost 3 gold. The black horse can gallop about 30 seconds longer than the brown horse, this is especially handy when your being chased by enemies.

The Vagrant
These guys are who you need to build your kingdom. Give them 1 coin to make them a Worker.

Archer
These are your main defense. During the day, they'll hunt rabbits and deer for gold, but at night they'll go to the furthest wall and defend the kingdom from the Greed. If you build an Archer Tower, an Archer will go to the tower and stay there. Always have a 9/10 ratio on Archers to Builders. You'll need more Archers than Builders.

Builder
These guys will build any and everything in your kingdom. They build your walls, towers, farms, portals, and cut trees. These guys are useful, but only have about 4-6 at any time, unless you have a Catapult, then have around 8.

Knights
These are your tanks. Once you have fully upgraded your kingdom, you'll be able to buy shields for your workers. 2 Knights will go to each side and help defend with your Archers. The amount of HP for a Knight is depended on how many coins they have, so make sure that each Knight you send out to kill a Portal has a least 4 coins. Another thing is that 4 Archers will accompany each Knight.

Farmers
After you've gotten the Lv.2 camp, you'll unlock the Scythe Salesman, which in turn will allow you to hire Farmers, your main money makers. In order for a Farmer to start working, you'll need to make a basic farm, which you can do by going to the streams of water and buying it. Farmers will go to the main fireplace at your kingdom until you have made the Lv.2 farm. Farmers make about 3-5 gold every harvest.

The Merchant
This man will give you a full rack of tools in exchange for 4 coins, which is a bargain. However, he will sell only 1 type, and that type might not be what you want. Only hire him after your 2nd Bloodmoon.

Now let's talk about the baddies.

Greedlings
These things are the main attackers at night or when a Portal is activated. They die in one hit, but some will wear masks to block some arrows. If a Greedling hits you when you have no coins and takes your crown, it's game over, so don't get close to these things.

Portals
These are what spawn the Greed, so taking them out is the main goal of the game. There will always be 2 on either side and must be taken down, but do so with caution. If a Portal is destroyed, a counter attack will be launched. Once both Portals on either side are gone, no more Greed will attack from that side.

Floaters
These things are a MAJOR issue in the game. They'll pick up and eat your troops, meaning you can never hire them, cause they're actually dead. They'll usually target the towers first, so make sure you have a lot of Archers.

Breeders
These lovely ladies (I think they're women) will spawn 4-5 Greedlings every 10 seconds, and are sponges. It's important you have 15-20 Archers and a Catapult on both sides so that these things wont get inside your first wall.

Next, I'll talk about the Statues.

Archer Statue
For 5 coins, your Archers will have increased damage and accuracy for 1 day, up to a maximum of 3 days. Always have at least 1 charge before attacking a portal.

Builder Statue
For 6 coins your walls will be stronger until they are broken. This isn't useful if you have plenty of Archers to kill the Greed with, but if you don't have many, use it once.

The Shrine
For 7 coins, you can upgrade your walls to Lv. 4 and kingdom to Lv. 5, which will allow the use of stone based defenses. This is the most needed Statue in the game.

Finally, I'll talk about the Catapult, Teleporter, the two types of animals, and Blood Moon

Blood Moon

The moon dictates what will happen. A normal colored moon is a normal attack, but Blood Moons appear every 5 days with a huge attack. Be prepared when this happens. The day after the attack will have no monsters at night.

Catapults

Catapults are a huge damage dealing building that requires builders to operate. The more builders, up to 2, will increase reload time and movement. They cost 6 coins to build.

Teleporters

These buildings are used to get around the map when a portal is destroyed. When build, it will allow you to warp to anypart of the map by looking either left or right. When 2 Teleporters are build, you will warp between them, on a cooldown of course. It costs 5 coins to build.

Rabbits and Deer

Rabbits and Deer are what your Archers will hunt during the day. Rabbits die in one hit and drop one coin. Deer will run away when attacked, but can be herded by the player into a group of Archers for an easy kill. Deer require two hits and will drop 2-4 coins on death.

Now, let's get into the fun part. The Day Progression.
Daily Progression
Days 1-4

Go to the main camp and get the coins. Only start the camp, hire both Vagrants, and buy 1 bow. Go to the 2 camps on the right and hire all of the Vagrants. Head back home and gather the money your Archer gained from hunting and buy more bows. Do not build any walls or towers, they are not needed until day 5. Keep recuiting Vagrants and buy nothing but bows. By day 4, have 1 builder and get both walls up to Lv. 2. Don't bother with the towers until day 14. If you have enough time during the day, explore one of the 2 forests. There will always be 1 chest full of gold on either side. Lastly, dont expand to the right too far, cause you'll want that close camp for quite a while for the Workers.

Days 5-10

Now things get real. Build both walls up to Lv. 2 and be prepared. Blood Moons will send a lot of Greedlings after you, but the next night will not have any monsters, so you have time to recover. Upgrade you camp to Lv. 2 and get 2 Scythes from the new Salesman. (If you have a water stream available) Get a farm up and running by day 8 for some extra money. Don't bother buying the Shrine for Lv. 3 walls just yet, you don't need that upgrade yet. On day 9, try to get some more people from the camps and get more Archers. Your 2nd Blood Moon shouldn't be too hard if you are stocked on Archers.

Days 11-25

By day 17, you should have a Lv.3-4 camp, have 20-30 Archers, 5-6 Builders, and 3 Farmers with a Lv.2 farm, so that's our goal. For days 12-14, just keep hiring Vagrants and buying bows, but also expand to the left a bit more till you are a bit close to the 1st Portal. For day 15, upgrade you outer walls to Lv.3. Until day 21, keep getting money and upgrade those towers to Lv.4. Day 21 you'll need to upgrade your camp to the max Lv. for those Knights. Hire 4 Vagrants and try to buy the shields. If there is enough time, go to the first portal on the left side and destroy it. Don't forget to give the Knights some coins and activate a charge on the Archer Statue. For the next 4 days, just keep upgrading and recruiting.

Days 26 and beyond.

By now, at least 2 Portals are destroyed, a sensible army, plenty of cash, and a sense of what's to come. If you have noticed no attacks are coming from the left at night, that's good. If you killed both Portals on the left, no more Greed will come from that side. So now you focus on the right side. By now, you have seen the Floaters and Breeders, so you know what they can do. When the 3rd Portal is destroyed, 3 Breeders will be released, along with some Floaters and a lot of Greedlings. Make sure your army is ready for a beating. Keep hiring Vagrants, buying bows and shields if your Knights die, as well as get some more Farmers for gold. Now the rest is up to you. You can keep the last Portal alive and get to day 100, or you can end it then and there. It's up to you.
Tips
Tip #1

NEVER leave your camp at night, unless it's after a Blood Moon or after the enemies are gone.

Tip #2

Don't expand too far to the right, but if you must, keep the last tree on the left of the Vagrant camp there so the camp gives you people.

Tip #3

Explore early to find out what Statues are near you and get the chests full of money.

Tip #4

The sooner you can build a farm, the sooner gold will not be an issue anymore.

Tip #5

Don't bother building Archer Towers far away from your walls unless a Breeder or tier 3 counter-attack is coming. They can't aim from far away distances.

Tip #6

NEVER hire Vagrants too far away or behind a Portal. They might not get to your camp before a Greedling attacks them.

Tip #7

If you have the gold, drop some in front of the Portal during an attack to keep some Greedlings away from your troops

Tip #8

This is the most important tip here. As each Portal dies, the amount of Greed that comes out is greatly increased. 1st Portal has 10 Greedlings and 2 Floaters. 2nd Portal has 15 Greedlings, 4 Floaters, and a Breeder. 3rd has 15 Greedlings and 3 Breeders. Finally the 4th Portal has attacks on both sides, with 10 Floaters, 30 Greedlings, and 10 BREEDERS!!! Make sure you have an incredible army, or you'll surely die.

Tip #9

If your horse gets tired when running for a long time... Instead of waiting 30 seconds for it to regain strength, you can stop by a place with grass. After it eats for about 10 seconds it will be ready for a long ride!

Tip #10

You can place some coins in an empty vagrant camp, it may result in recruiting them right after they spawn. - RuFleS

Tip #11

If you stay around a Portal for too long, it will open up, even during the day. Never stay too close to a Portal unless you are leading an attack to destroy one. - Defendor

Tip #12

Builders will never go beyond Portals to cut down trees or build. Don't bother wasting your coins doing that. - Defendor

They simply generate more coins per harvest

And what do farmers do when there is a lv.2 farm?
Hello, Newman 31 Oct, 2023 @ 5:59pm
Probably someone has already commented about this but a useful tip is before starting the game by going left or right, keep pressing the down arrow or S key, to skip the tutorial. This way you're not forced to recruit the worker in the beginning.

The days 1-4 doesn't work as you describe. You can't buy a second bow because the game makes you build hammer.
