Introduction

There are 5 banditos and depending on which one of them you start the quest with, you'll get a different reward.

Jose: information about the murderer
Whit: 3 dogs that attack anyone shooting at you
Juan: 1000 greenbacks
Juaroen: double revolvers
Juardo: a bowler hat every time you talk to him

Jose

Jose is in the forest north of fort motors

You'll either have to go through the gate north of fort motors or you'll have to come out of the mine entrance north of the indian camp

If you start the quest with him he'll tell you something about the murderer after you finish the quest

Whit

Whit can be found in the mountains west of santa anna

To reach him you'll have to enter the empty river bed two screens below him and then go east at the dam

If you start the quest with him he'll give you his three dogs once you finish the quest. The dogs will attack anyone shooting at you in the same way as mercenaries

Juan

Juan is in the south of the desert

He's a bit hidden but he's in the southeast corner of the screen behind some rocks

If you start the quest with him he'll give you 1000 greenbacks once you finish the quest

Juaroen

Juaroen is in a tiny shack two screens south of the oil tycoon's mansion

The shack is a bit hidden so keep an eye on the right side of the path

If you start the quest with him he'll give you his double revolvers once you finish the quest

Juardo

Juardo is in the mines near the mine entrance

He's behind a locked door that can be only unlocked if you enter from the screen above him

If you start the quest with him he'll give you a bowler hat every time you talk to him after you finish the quest

The banditos reunited

After you finish the quest you can find the ostrich banditos one screen north of bob's ranch

Juardo will still give you bowler hats if you talk to him there

The quest you needed to start with him was the ostrich banditos quest itself.

it can be started with any of the members, and has a different reward depending on which you started it with.

if you finished the quest then you should have gotten whatever reward the original quest giver gives.

how do you start the quest with Jose? i completed the ostrich quest and he is now in the north forest. but i cannot start a quest with him

Yeah, I even managed to glitch myself into the water, but even then I couldn't reach him. I really wish they'd thought of this and moved him into town or somewhere else in the Santa Anna cliffs.

So.... is there a way to reach Whit if you've already completed the quest to restore water to Santa Anna?
