Dinosaur comfort and compatability
Hello,
thank you for reading my guide, its still currently in progress as I am taking a while to enjoy the game as I play and update this list. I am far enough in my list now that I feel comfortable putting it on here for you all.

There are a few youtube videos floating around by some awesome players that discuss a large part of dinosaur compatibility. One video in particular was very helpful in giving us a cross species compatability chart.
This chart is what I based most of my information off of, to start mixing herbivores and carnivores. This guide is not me re-stating these facts. In this guide I will be telling you the social , and population restrictions for each dinosaur.

To start off, id like to talk about the different categories that our charts will discuss.

Social minimum and maximum; This is referring to dinosaurs of the same species, you must meet the minimum requirement for the species or the dinosaurs comfort will immediately start to decrease.

Population maximum; This is referring to how many dinosaurs are in the enclosure including carnivores. As soon as the total headcount in the enclosure goes over their maximum population count the dinosaurs comfort level will immediately begin to decrease.

Size type; This is referring to the dinosaurs size in reference to the first chart.

Comfort threshold ; This is very important, the higher the threshold the actual lower it is that the dinosaur can handle being uncomfortable before starting to break out and attack guests. High percentages are not necessarily a bad thing, it just means you must plan out the dinosaurs exhibit closely instead of building around it.

Fear of storms; this is a fairly simple topic. Though personally I have not seen it yet in any herbivores, carnivores often start to misbehave when it storms. Their comfort levels drop very quickly and they begin to cause havoc.

HERBIVORE CHART

The red and green bracket is solely for easy identification of which dinosaurs you can have a single species of and which you need multiple of the same species. Green is yes single is fine, red is single is unacceptable by species standards.

CARNIVORE CHART

AS MENTIONED AT THE BEGINNING THE CARNIVORE CHART IS NOT 100% COMPLETE FEAR OF STORMS IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

I hope this helps you all make a full and successful park!

I think there's a few carnivores that were added since you started the chart. Herrerrasaurus and Protoceratosaurus are the two I can think of off the bat

the T-rex does not kill dilophosaurs, so maybe your dilo get scared away from the water and food and starved/dehydrated. Smaller carnivores all get scared by bigger ones but wont kill each other (Except from T-rex and velociraptor). This can lead to starvings. Also, all carnivores will kill anything while its tranquillised, so watch out for that.

average eva, T-rex only attacks velociraptor out of small carnivores. Also, small carnivores can be put with the I-rex

what does fear of storms mean? don't all carnivores try to break out during a storm? I've had a Rex and I-Rex break out during a storm and killed the Rex... I also have to tranq the Deinos during large storms. need help :JurassicWorldEvolution:

To Mikbert, from last I tested, t-rex will still attack small carnivores and velociraptor will still attack large carnivores

Exactly what the last 2 people said, I don't know what the fuck is happening but all of a sudden the large carno's eat everything in their sight. Another thing, I put the IndoRex with a bunch of small carno's and they went fine together, although I suspect that this has been changed as well...

I wonder if this has changed in an update? I haven't played the game in a while (since last year) but I always housed a T-Rex with Raptors or Dilophosaurus to save space on paddocks. I should get back into it and play around with it. At the very least, it USED to be true lol.
