描述
This is an addon for the gamemode "Trouble in Terrorists Town". Please do not try to use it in any other gamemode and report errors or downvote it due to that reason.

If you have ideas on how to improve the item or run into technical issues, feel free to post here to let me know about it. I will try to improve and fix it to the best of my abilities. If you like the addon. Please let me know it with your vote :)

Update 1.02

Big thanks to Alf21 (the creator of TTT2) for fixing the bugs with TTT2.

Some new functionality was added too:

- You can now add "Fake Credits" to the corpse in order to lure greedy Traitors/Detectives (the credit notification is only visual, so noone can get credits out of it).
- Secondly I added some tracking functionality to the corpse. If someone searches it (to confirm or to get the credits out of it) you can track the person through walls for 15 seconds.

The Death Faker now fully supports TTT2 and TTT Totem.

Fixes and Improvements from the original addon

When confirming the fake body, your true role will be no longer revealed in the scoreboard (the old addon revealed the role with the color code in scoreboard). Instead the role, you chosen for the body, will show up and the corresponding color can be seen in the scoreboard.
You now leave blood when you fake your death, so the crime scene is not suscpiciously clean.
I increased the support for TTT Totem (you can choose the Jackal and Sidekick Role for your Corpse).
As well every Role can use the Death Faker (this is useful for TTTC), because I removed the new tab inside the traitor menu and instead created an own window for configurations (which you can find by pressing Reload).

Description

You can buy this item in the Traitor Shop. Use it to fake your death and leave a corpse or to fake the death of another player to evoke confusion.

Controls

Primary Fire - Fake your death and drop the body
Reload - Open and close the configuration window
Secondary Fire - Quickly switch between the roles for the corpse

ConVars

ttt_df_identify_body (def. 0) - Should the fake body automatically get identified by a random player after being dropped.

ttt_df_explode_on_real_confirm (def. 1) - Should the fake body explodes, if the real body is confirmed.

Only the primary fire (Fake your death and drop the body) seems to work for me, in ttt2. Which is frustrating since I really like this mod.

The errors in sandbox can be fixed by stopping the weapon from loading outside of the ttt gamemode, like so:
if engine.ActiveGamemode() ~= "terrortown" then
return
end
I've posted an edited version that fixes this.

found one flaw.
if you have body armor and drop a fake innocent corpse it will show an innocent corpse with body armor which makes it obvious that it isn't a real corpse.
i also wish there was an easier way to filter out or manually add weapon entities in the list.

Certain parts of this addon don't correctly disable themselves in non-TTT gamemodes, which ends up causing error spam in some of them. Would it be possible to prevent it from initializing entirely in non-TTT gamemodes?

Addon doesn't seem to let me open the config window and it doesn't show what role the body is changed to when right clicking (though right clicking does change it). Anybody know what might be wrong?

Says its "creating Lua errors" and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, unsubscribing/resubscribing, restating the game, but I think i need a bit more help because it will not work for me.

Seems like the death faker works just fine now. Only problem is that whe nusing a weapon pack like ArcCW, you do not have an option to choose type of death to be an ArcCW weapon, you can only choose vanilla weapons. So that way, it's quite easy to tell that the dead body is a fake.

Ist es möglich einzustellen das der Death Faker das Model der ausgesuchten Person nimmt? Da bei uns auf den Server immer das Model des Traitors genommen wird der den Death Faker nutzt, was bei Custom Models eher schlecht ist.
