Starting
First off go in Legend Studios, click Twitter, YouTube, Twitch and Newsletter. You don't have anything to do with it, it's free powerups.

Once you join a game, you will have to choose between 2 classes (6 with DLC)

Fighter
Balanced, okay damage, good health, normal speed, normal attack rate, no abilities.

Cleric
Low damage, good health, normal speed, normal attack rate. You can heal yourself for 1 heart every 4 rooms cleared. Recommended to have one in your party.

DLC

Rogue
Okay damage, good health, fast speed, normal attack rate. You can summon 1-3 coins every 3 rooms cleared. Recommended if you're going to beat the game alone, or if you feel like taking all the coins.

Mage
High damage, very bad health, slow speed, slow attack rate. You can deal damage to all enemies every 4 rooms. Charges items (abilities) faster. Not recommended if your teammates won't let you get the vigor potions and shields.

Ranger
Bad damage, okay health, normal speed, slow attack rate. Attacks pierce enemies.

Mercenary
Attack gets better the more coins you have, bad health (but starts with 2 shields), normal speed, normal attack rate.
Floors
The game got 5 floors. They have different enemies.

Rooms
Gray : Rooms that wasn't explored yet. Might contain a boss on the final floor.
Light blue : Rooms that were explored. Might still have enemies in it if the previous player has not finished fighting or was punted to another room. Starter room is also this color.
Yellow : Treasure rooms. Needs to be unlocked (not on floor 1). They have 4 chest, with an powerup for each players. One per floors.
Purple : Shops. Needs to be unlocked. Have green crystals (ability recharge), hearts, a shield, powerups and potions. One per floors.
Red : Boss room. Should be visited last. One per floors.
Dark gray : Secret rooms. Not seen on maps until discovered. Blow up a wall with a bomb and you might find it. One per floors.

Floors
Floor 1 : Usually smaller than the other rooms. Treasure room is unlocked, enemies found in it are the blue slimes, blue punters, skeletons and wind elementals.
Floor 2 : Enemies found in it are the blue slimes, green slimes, blue punters, skeletons, knight skeletons, pumpkins and ice elementals.
Floor 3 : Enemies found in it are blue slimes, green slimes, red slimes, blue punters, green punters, red punters, skeletons, knight skeletons, pumpkins and earth elementals.
Floor 4 : Enemies found in it are blue, green, red, gray slimes and punters, skeletons, knight skeletons, mage skeletons, ghosts, fire pumpkins and fire elementals.
Floor 5 : All enemies are found in it, and you might also encounter random bosses.
Power-ups
I won't list them all here, but power-ups are items that will boost or make your stats weaker (ghost shurikens powerup trades bullet speed for attack rate), or give you an ability, like making enemies explode on death when you are in the same room as them.
Potions
Potions can buff or debuff all your stats, double or make you lose all coins/bombs/keys, or summon 2 shields. They are unknown the first time you see them, and only after drinking them you will see their name. Their colors are not the same in every games, a red potion can be vigor one game, and lethargy next one. They can be very powerful, or they can mess the game up. Up to you to see if you want to take the risk or not.
Enemies
Enemies will appear in any rooms other than the shop, the treasure room and the starter room.

Enemies
Blue slimes : Slow, low HP. Easy to get rid of, but might be dangerous with other enemies around.

Blue punters : Slow (Very fast during charge), medium HP. Try not to get hit by him, he will punt you to another room.

Green slimes : Slow, low HP. Easy to get rid of, but leave an acid puddle on death that lasts for a few seconds.

Green punters : Slow (Very fast during charge), medium HP. Fight it like a blue punter, but leaves an acid puddle on charge hit.

Red slimes : Fast, medium HP. Dangerous when cornered.

Red punters : Fast (Very fast during charge), medium HP. At all cost do NOT try to dodge him by turning around him. He has less range than the other punters so you should just get far enough. Try to get rid of them quickly, or hide behind a pot/wall when they charge.

Gray slimes : Slow, very high HP. Not a real threat unless cornered.

Gray punters : Slow (Very fast during charge), very high HP. His high HP makes him annoying with other enemies around, but he should not give you any more trouble than a blue punter.

Gold slime : Normal speed, low HP. Tries to run away from you. Drops coins on death and diseappears if you take too long killing it.

Gold punter : Slow (Very fast during charge), medium HP. Once he charges, he will diseappear. Try to kill it before it does to get coins.

Skeleton : Slow, low HP. Throws bone at you, once he is defeated, you need to finish him off or he will heal himself.

Knight skeleton : Slow (Very fast during charge), high HP. Runs at you, sometimes charges at you.

Mage skeleton : Does not move, medium HP. Teleports, throws a bone and summons a teleporting mist. Avoid getting hit by the mist.

Ghost : Does not move, medium HP. Teleports, shoots a circle of projectiles. Won't attack without a player in their range.

Pumpkin : Does not move, low HP. Shoots seeds.

Fire pumpkin : Does not move, low HP. Quickly shoots fire. Can still turn during his attack animation.

Wind elemental : Very fast, low HP. Just tries to attack you, do not try to turn around it too closely or he will hit you.

Ice elemental : Slow, medium HP. Approaches you, and shoot 3 ice projectiles that will freeze you on hit. Avoid getting hit at all cost when he is with other enemies.

Earth elemental : Slow, medium HP. Approaches you, and attacks you with an line of earth. Explodes on death, may be used as a bomb for protected loot or secret rooms.

Fire elemental : Slow, medium HP. Approaches you, shoots fire in all direction, setting on fire any hits. Try getting rid of it quickly.

Bosses

Wind beast : Fast. He moves in a line, bouncing from walls. Can summon lightning that will be warned with red circles, and 2 lightning balls (Slow, low HP). Not much tips for him, just dodge his attacks, break the lightning balls and attack him.

Pumpking : Fast. Can teleport. Shoots a spray of seeds, can summon pumpkins. Recommended to kill the pumpkins unless you are sure you can dodge all the seeds.

Mad knight : Slow (Very fast during charge). Charges at you like a red punter would do (faster
more range, less turning). Can summon 2 knight skeletons (Max : 4). Kill the skeletons, dodge his charges like a red punter's charges. Be careful, when he charges, he also swings his sword.

Water witch : Fast. Moves randomly, can summon a circle of bubbles, and shoot huge water projectiles in 4 direction. Do not break all bubbles, you won't make it in time, but at least try to not be overwhelmed.

Ancient : Does not move. Can summon 2 elementals, and circles that will shoot a laser half the size of the side walls, or 5 balls at a player. If you are in a party, one player should go at each side so the 5 balls can only hit one player. Kill the elementals very quickly as it can get disastrous if they are still alive during laser attack.

Earth Golem : Slow (Very fast during charge). Can throw an explosive rock, and charge, fissuring the ground. Do not worry too much about him, his rocks are easy to dodge and his charges barely hitting anything at all. Just do not forget to get out of the fissures.

Flame Knight : Medium speed (Fast during spin attack). Can summon a circle of fire pillars, and charge at you while spinning. Try to dodge the fire pillars while being far enough from him to be able to dodge his spin attacks.

The Countess : Fast speed. Moves like the wind beast, occasionally tries to punt you. Can summon elementals, bombs, shoots dark bubbles (not much of a threat compared to water witch's bubbles) and 5-6 dark spikes at the player. You should clear all rooms near her boss room before fighting her, because if you get punted in an unexplored room that would not be any good. Quickly kill anything she summons, all her attacks are easy to dodge, try not to fight her in a room with obstacles (you could even let yourself get punted to a clear room). Cheese : Get a dark mask, die with the countess on the same room as you, and have a friend to live outside the room. The dark mask will eventually kill the countess.
Party
You should always be with other players, ask them what is their health before taking hearts or shields, let them know about the potions you drink. Do not throw pots at them or blow them up, yes, that deals damage.
Reviving a teammate costs you half an heart/shield.

I recommend you play with players you trust. Mostly people on quick play won't listen, or talk, and leaves after dying before you revive them.

At all costs, never split the party on the final floor or you might end up alone against a boss, without your health bar.

Pro tip: Pot of Gold doesn't double gold bags, so I guess this one you can leave for others

this is a guide to make you a better player, so staying with other players should be needed. the game is also about teamwork and splitting up might make people lost, make them pick up an unwanted item, or a heart someone else needs more, they could wait but it would make the team lose time. it's literally in the title and no one listens to it
/stuck command didnt exist back when i made the guide
I forgot about wind beast's chase somehow
about the earth golem's laggy rocks, you just circle around him, his fissures won't hurt you if you walk away from them
the countess also used to stay in the room alone with the dead player

otherwise nice tips, i just kinda made the guide and then left it forever because the game is dead

You don't need to always be with other players, that is bullsh!t - if you are not noob then everyone can spread.
By using command /stuck you are being able to go to the starting room from any other room. Also by pressing Up arrow while having chat opened then it will make last line you send appear ready to send.
Wind beast also has a chance to chase players, in this case it is the best to go to the top of the room and go from one side to other while huggin the top wall. When you are cornered then dodge and try to go to top wall again, repeat previous thing. It makes that most of boss' the hitboxes are in the wall allowing for much easier dodges and your teammates (if you have any) are safer.

Pumpking always aims the player with lowest health. His bullets stop on pots, blocks and dead bodies. It can push pots and bodies. Also if it is on the bottom, top of room, or near block and bodies then all of his projectiles will entirely get blocked. If it chases you then it is good to lure it into thing that block projectiles.
You can cheese Mad knight by luring him into the bottom wall. Then he won't be able to charge at you propelly. Your teammates should kill skeletons or viceversa. He also stops on pots, bombs and blocks that sometimes are in his arena - can be also lured around those.
If Water witch chases you then try luring her into walls cause then she will spawn less projectiles.
Usually by staying at the bottom of room makes that ancient will always aim you. If you are at the furthest point from where you can hit him while hugging bottom wall on either left or right side, then by goin to the other side you will be able to dodge projectiles from it's mouth.

Earth's golem projectiles are bullsh!t if you are guest (not host). You won't dodge them propelly so you should try to dodge all the time cause they are lagged AF and direction in which they are thrown is often displayed wrong - literally they are invisible and you will take damage on suprise. If he charges at you and you are near the quakes - don't move until they start to fade out or you can get hit.
Flame knight can be cheesed by luring him into bottom wall, here he won't be able to make charges and spawn projectiles. He can't spawn projectiles at bottom wall, near bodies either. (Near pots and bombs probably, too)
Countess teleports to the other living players in the other rooms if player who entered her room dies so dark mask won't help you so easily - at least one player must stay with you dead in the room. Everyone use /stuck to get to the starting room after starting fight with her, if you leave this room then use it again and again.

Also, there was this one time when I ASKED someone to throw pots at me. Effect on getting dmged. (The "Drop Coin When Hit" item.)
FluffyMars 15 Oct, 2018 @ 11:43am
Also, you can clear up any confusion by using "does" for Ancient. Otherwise it sounds like you're advising them "do not move."
