1. Alt+f4 out of the game or whatever you wanna do to close it to be a cool kid
2. Open task manager
3. End "steam client bootstraper" (if you have steam client open it will be easier to find if you have minimal task manager mode)
4. Unplug controller
5. Start game desktop shortcut therefore restarting steam client
6. Plug in controller
7. Press A button on main screen at game start

now if you excuse me, I have some Momo to go beat off to
