Notes.
Riddles Of The Past has a total of 31 Steam achievements, none of which are missable. All achievements are earned as part of your natural progression through the game (triggered by cut scenes or obtaining items required to progress through the game) and can be earned with a single playthrough taking around 1.5 to 2 hours.

A quick primer, before you get started...
1. There are no difficulty settings, there is just one difficulty for the game.
2. There are not achievements relating to watching cut scenes, you can skip them if you really want to.
3. There are no hidden object scenes (in the traditional sense anyway).
4. There are hints available in the main game which you are free to use at any time, there are no achievements relating to not using them.
5. While there are no hidden object scenes there are many puzzles on offer, skips are available for these puzzles and there are no achievement related to not using them.

Riddles Of The Past, is in essence the epitome of casual achievement hunting, just play, enjoy and if you get stuck, my video walkthrough below has time stamps for all puzzles and achievements.
Achievement Guide Part 1.
The achievements listed below are in order of which I earned them during my playthrough.

Find a pendant.
Found heart shaped pendant.
The pendant is hanging on the mirror in your home (the starting area).
Find a photo album.
Found a photo album.
The photo album is the book with a brown spine on the shelf above the couch in your home (the starting area), that is obstructed by a bent nail.
Stadium.
Recall what happened on stadium.
After completing the photo fragment puzzle a cut scene will play and this achievement unlocks.
Find a magnifying glass.
Found a magnifying glass.
In your home (the starting area) grab the lens from the floor, on the left side of the couch and the handle from inside the photo album (once placed on the table), then place both the handle and the lens on your handbag, located on the couch, then search your handbag for the completed magnifying glass.
Riverside.
You came to the Riverside.
After assembling the torn up photo, use the magnifying glass on the photo album and a cut scene will play, and this achievement will unlock.
Find a poster.
Found an old poster.
The poster is on the wall, to the right of the door at the Riverside bus stop.
Find a ticket.
Found a ticket.
Inside the bus stop ticket office, on the table behind the robo-cashier, is a machine, click on this and it will dispense the ticket.
Kidnapping.
They took Fred!
After passing the gate (to the left of the bus stop) into Riverside town a cut scene will play and this achievement will unlock.
Found a bill.
Found a gas bill.
Outside the Riverside general store is a table and two chairs, the bill is on the table.
Find a newspaper.
Found a newspaper.
The newspaper (which is just a fragment of one page of a paper) is on the counter in the general store.
Find jack blueprint.
Found jack blueprint.
In the back room of the general store, on the right side of the room is a cabinet with a box on top. The blueprint is under the box and a pair of tweezers (located in the green tool box on the opposite side of the room) is required to remove it.
Find a menu.
Found a menu.
The menu is on the outside wall of the building behind the sweet vending machine.
Bartenter.
You've met the bartender.
This achievement unlocks when you first enter the diner/coffee shop.
Find access key.
Found access key.
The access key is on the notice board above the desk in the police station.
Find a folder.
Found a folder with a card file.
To earn this achievement, access the hospital from the rear of the police station, head to the top floor, into the operating room and the folder is located in a glass cabinet at the back of the room. To earn this achievement you will need to use the empty folder with the papers in slot 6 of the mail rack behind the desk on the ground floor.
Find a player photo.
Found football player photo.
This photo is a reward for completing the rotating cylinder carnival machine puzzle (puzzle #13 in my video walkthrough).
Find a dancer figure.
Found a dancer figure.
Outside the locker room is a mailbox, glued to the top of the box is the figure, use a little paint thinner on the figure, and the dancer is yours.
Find a player badge.
Found a player badge.
The player badge is in the music box, located on the window sill, inside the gazebo, in the area just before the carnival ground.
Proposal.
Recall the marriage proposal.
Inside the locker room, is a locker, that is locked... inside the locker are some papers, read them, a cut scene will play and this achievement is yours.
Find a light bulb.
Found a light bulb.
The light bulb is in the street light outside the church, to climb the ladder you will first need to get the wood planks from the door of the house on the far left first.
Deception.
Remote control is lost.
This achievement unlocks when you give the remote control (obtained from the generator in the clock tower) to Fred, or at least who you think is Fred.
Find Clarck's ring.
Found Clarck's ring.
Clarck's ring, or rather Clark's ring is a small gear, which is located in the church, on a chair against the left wall.
Achievement Guide Part 2.
(Sorry, there is a character limit to each section when creating a guide, and so I had to split the achievement guide into two sections due to the number of achievements).

The achievements listed below are in order of which I earned them during my playthrough.

Threat.
Discovered an enemy.
When you first enter the area with a house and a well outside (just beyond the photo studio) a cut scene plays and this achievement pops.
Find a film.
Found a film.
The film is assembled in the photo studio, using the machine behind the curtain on the left side of the room, the parts are located around the studio itself.
Blueprint.
You found a robot blueprint.
The blueprint is printed in the print shop using the machine with a wheel on the left side of the room. You will require the film from the photo studio, the ink from the filing drawers on the right side of the print shop and what I think is a roller from the window ledge in the print shop to produce the blueprint. Once obtained a cut scene will play and this achievement unlocks.
Crime history.
Crimes history revealed.
In Clark's computer room, laying on the keyboard are some documents, read these and a cut scene will play, and this achievement will unlock.
Find a red book.
Found a red book.
The red book is located directly behind (or under if you prefer) the papers that you interacted with for the Crime history achievement, in a little nook under the monitor.
Anabiosis.
Turned anabiosis capsule off.
This achievement unlocks when you release Fred from the pod, which is done by completing the control panel puzzle to the right of the pod (puzzle #33 in my video walkthrough).
Find a chip.
Found a chip
The chip is on the floor, under a chair, to the right of the pod that contains/contained Fred.
Find a burner.
Found a burner.
The burner is located in the hydroelectric dam building (that looks like a factory), sitting atop a machine on the right side.
Victory!.
Evil genius is defeated!.
This achievement pops at the end of the game.
