How to enable New Game Plus!

This guide will teach you how to create a new game plus. I did not discover this on my own; Mavrose7 on the forums shared his solution, and I decided to put it in a more visible place.

This will only transfer perks and collectibles. Weapon upgrades and contraptions will still need to be unlocked.

Obviously, I'm assuming you've already beaten the game once. If so, move on.

Start a new game. Do not overwrite your first file.
Wait until you enter the game and are allowed to save after the cutscenes (for good measure, wait until you first enter the wheelchair on the U-Boat).
Head to
C:\Users\[name]\Saved Games\MachineGames\Wolfenstein II The New Colossus/base/savegame.user/[long number].
You should see SLOT0 and SLOT1 (depending on what slots you decided to choose; SLOT0 should be your first save).
Take the folders GAME-TRANSITION and PROFILE from SLOT0, put them into SLOT1 and overwrite.
Load your latest save, and check your perks and collectibles. If you did this right, you should have the same perk and collectible progress as your last file.

This is also possible on the Steam Deck, same process as described, just a different location for the game saves;

/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/612880/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Saved Games/MachineGames/Wolfenstein II The New Colossus/base/savegame.user/ [LONG_STEAM_ID_NUMBER]

Thanks. This game is substantially better with the perks fully or at least partway unlocked from the get go, because of the overkill enemy balancing that basically ignores player armor. The laser and fire resistance ones especially can turn some very BS sequences into normal enjoyable ones, but the slower overhealth deflate, increased grenade capacity, and a few of the others make the game much better. Wish there was full on modding so the balancing could finally be fixed, but oh well.
