Grandma Grouper's treasure chest of kelp seeds is stolen, and Freddi and Luther go off in search of the thieves, who turn out to be two sharks. (One is called Spongehead, but the other is never called anything but Boss.) Thankfully, Spongehead has a bad memory, so he left a trail of notes in bottles leading to the chest.

As the Demo starts, you'll be near where Mrs. Halibut, be sure to pick up the Wooden Board first before meeting her. Click on her to pull her out & she'll tell you Gabby is stuck in the cave. Enter the cave, then proceed through the Old Whale Bones until you reach Gabby, but first you'll see a Beautiful Shell, pick that up for later then Pry the rock that is trapping Gabby using the wooden plank to save him. Gaby's mother hugs her son, and because she is so grateful, she gives you a Purple Sea Urchin & the Demo ends (but don't worry, there'll be more to see and do in the Retail Version).

Beautiful Shell: Not used in the Demo.

Purple Sea Urchin: Used as Currency in later Freddi Fish Titles, there's 7 in the Retail Version of Freddi Fish 1.

Wooden Board: Used to Rescue Gabby who's trapped in a Cave.

First, download the ScummVM Emulator here:
http://scummvm.org/

Then, follow these steps:
1. Create a new Folder on your C Drive and Name it: "HEGames".

5. Create a New Folder in your HEGames Folder, then Name it "Freddi1Demo".

6. Copy the Freddi Fish 1: Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds Demo Files to your Freddi1Demo Folder on your Hard Drive.

7. Run the ScummVM Installer & follow the instructions shown.

8. DON'T Open Freddi Fish 1: Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds the Demo Version just yet. If you're using a newer computer, you'll need to use the ScummVM Emulator.

9. Open ScummVM
10. Select "ADD GAME"

11. Find the folder where Freddi Fish 1: Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds the Demo Version is Installed on your Hard Drive, select CHOOSE & then select OK. After that, the game should be added to the ScummVM Library.

12. Highlight Freddi Fish 1: Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds the Demo Version,
then Double-Click on it to start or select START.
