Yes, a was a little salty and mean, mainly because I spent two hours lurking on the Steam forums to help people, answering again and again to the same questions about basic mechanics which were in the tutorials, but I will remove this paragraph now.
I hope that Ajna's combos will be patched (or maybe they already are, I was absent for the last days and didn't look at the patch-note yet), it was just to answer to people who thought it was due to bugs or things like that.
I know for the training room but I wasn't there yet when I wrote my guide, and didn't think it would be necessary in this guide, but I will add a line to talk about it.
I didn't know about super-canceling, I will try it out then add it !
Thanks a lot.
To unlock him (without major spoilers), when you reach the first big city in the game progress the plot as normal. Before leaving the city, look for a man with a missing leg and talk to him. You can find him in your inner mind. Talk to him to access the training room.
Ajna's combos will probably be patched at some point. Her wonky moveset is discussed everywhere as of the time of writing. For the most part, attack+up > attack > attack+down or attack+up > attack > attack are the safest combos.
Should be "You can press attack, attack+up, or attack+down to use different moves."
>"Most of the characters will have kind of Super Attack, which costs you Iddhi meter to use, the energy bar in the top left corner. You can stock up to 3 bars. To use your super, just press RB + your character's button."
Should be "In the upper-left corner of the screen is your Iddhi meter. It starts with 1 bar, but eventually you will gain 3 bars. To use a super, press RB+a character button. The character you pick determines what special you'll use. If you press the button multiple times, you will use multiple bars of iddhi, which makes the special more powerful."
>"But first, even if you won't admit it, everything you need to know is explain sometime in the game, even how to use Iddhi bars. So please, stop criticizing the lack of tutorial, it wasn't an issue for me, it shouldn't be for you, this game is a lot of fun and the developers did an amazing job."
You should remove that paragraph entirely. First, you come off really defensive and salty. Second, many of the things mentioned in this guide *aren't* explained in the game. Instead, you have to either read about it online, or learn about it through trial and error. Third, while the game is great and Lab-Zero did a good job, it doesn't mean they did a good job at explaining the mechanics, which they didn't. It's especially sad because their previous title (Skullgirls) is INCREDIBLY helpful when it came to teaching the mechanics.
