Spec Ops: The Line FOV fix
By URMarty
This game restricts the viewport to a 16:9 aspect ratio and is VERT-, this is a Unreal Engine title so it is to be expected to some degree.
The fix corrects the aspect ratio and corrects the field of view for the new aspect ratio.

Flawless Widescreen
Flawless Widescreen was created in an effort to make it easier to craft fixes and patches to get games functioning correctly in UltraWide/Surround/Eyefinity gaming resolutions, often developers neglect these types of users leaving them to fend for themselves and find their own solutions, or in some unforunate cases - live without the wonderful world of ultra-wide support.

With simpliticty in mind, designed to be as simple as possible to use - simply select a supported game from the list, configure any basic desired configurable options and launch your game.

Make sure to check out[www.flawlesswidescreen.org] the main webpage, this tool is amazing.

Excellent, thank you. Works well on a 4K OLED. Game was unplayable today. Better FOV works so well on a big screen with high resolution, game looks beautiful. Five stars.

Let the record show that this is awesome. I was frustrated with the limited FOV and the resulting mouse over-acceleration from the start but decided to live with it after seeing the PC Gaming Wiki article: Another freakin' gaming utility program to install, break, partially figure out, guess-and-check configuration for and finally give up hope on? Yeah, no thanks.

Nope. The Flawless Widescreen people have put together a phenomenal package that does literally all the work for you. I think maybe 45 seconds elapsed between clicking the link above and re-launching Spec Ops, this time with a corrected FOV that can be adjusted on the fly from within the game . By typing console commands? Nope--the utility enables configurable keyboard shortcuts (default numpad +/-).

Seriously, this thing is incredibly user-friendly and seems to do exactly what it says. Can't wait to see the list of supported games grow.

I would like to use this program, but I can't get it to do anything. When I start the game, nothing is changed, I quit and check the "status" tab in the program and it has a bunch of errors that say: "Failed to open process, error code = 5".

You should also mention that this fixes the black bars on the top and botto mof the screens on 4:3 and 16:10 resolutions, and thanks for the guide.
