All Life Capsule Locations ["I'm Juggernaut..." Achievement]
By BC
Life capsules are some of the most useful items you'll find while playing Cave Story. They increase your health which makes this somewhat difficult game a lot easier. There are 11 life capsules, and, if all of them are found, your total health will be 50 HP (55 if you include the bonus one found in the blood stained sanctuary). This simple guide will tell (and show) you all of the locations of every life capsule.

NOTICE: Life capsules can not be found on hard mode (with the exception of the one given to you by the dog at the plantation).

For reference, LC= Life Capsule

Mimiga Village/Surrounding Areas
LC #1 (First Cave)

This one is just about impossible to miss. When you first start the game, you'll see this one to the left side while going down the cave to obtain the Polar Star. All you need to do is jump and grab it.

Note: If for some reason you decided not to get it during your first time in the cave, you can get it later once you get the get the Booster V 0.8 or the Booster V 2.0

LC #2 (Yamashita Farm)

When you're in Mimiga Village, jump onto the top of the bricks that are above the save room door. Then jump onto the bricks to the right and go into the door which leads to the farm area. Once there, head all the way right until you find a little area of water along with a life capsule in it.
Egg Corridor
Notice: Both of these life capsules will be permanently unobtainable once the Egg Corridor blows up after defeating the core. Make sure you get these life capsules before that happens.

LC #3

When you first arrive into the Egg Corridor, you'll see the capsule near the bottom of the screen. Go to the left to get to the bottom level, then go right to get to where the capsule is (though be careful of the white creature on the bottom, which will kill you in one hit).

LC #4

After the cutscene with Sue plays, go into the save room and get to the door at the top by jumping up and shooting a few blocks in the way. Once you go through the door, you'll be back outside and the life capsule will be two leaps away. Make sure you time the first jump well, as it can be quite difficult to make it across.
Bushlands
LC #5

This capsule is located near where the giant jellyfish spawns. Go right of that area and you should find a few blocks that you can easily jump on. Once you jump on them, jump onto the blocks to the left until you reach the block that Quote is standing on in the picture. Once there, just jump onto the single block floating to the left and then jump again to get your capsule.

LC #6

When you get deeper into the Bushlands, go into the building with the skull on it (it's right next to the building where you find Kazuma). Once inside, you'll have to shoot the blocks so that you can reach the capsule. Be careful of accidently killing yourself by letting the two big blocks crush you. One way to do this is to shoot the first small block to the left, and then the big block to the right (like in the picture).
Sand Zone
LC #7

After you fight Curly, go right and you should see a lot of blocks blocking your way. The life capsule is on top, so try and make a "stair case" out of all of the blocks to reach it.

LC #8

When you defeat Omega and the curse is lifted off of the stones, you should see a paw print block near where the sun stones were. Go through it (though you'll have to destroy some blocks), follow the path, and you'll find the capsule (along with a chest that has a dog).
The Labyrinth
LC #9

In the first room of the labyrinth, keep climbing up until you see a small little cliff to the left side. The life capsule is on the single floating block, although there is an enemy on it. Destroy the enemy (you could try shooting it from the platform to the right, or you could try using the fireball above it) and then hop onto the platforms to the right so you can drop down and claim your capsule.
The Plantation
LC #10

Go all the way to the top left of the plantation and you should see it sitting on a platform near the top. Use your booster pack (or level 3 machine gun) to get it. It's above the door to one of the mimiga prisons.

LC #11

Once Momorin [Sue's mom] finishes the rocket-powered lift, use it, but right before you reach the part with the skull and cross bones, you should see a dog on a ledge. Jump off of the lift so you can reach him. He'll give you the final life capsule along with a life pot if you don't have one.

Once you've obtained all of the life capsules mentioned, you should earn the achievement. The one found in the blood stained sanctuary is not required. Special thanks to Studio Pixel and Daisuke Amaya for creating this amazing game!

I got all the Life Capsules and for some reason I didn't have 50 health. I guess my diligence and playing the game completely correctly doesn't matter.

A minor correction to this: Either of the last two health capsules will work for getting the achievement, you just have to hit 50 max hp.

Great guide! Also, to uncensor words, you could also replace the " i " with " ì " Alt+141 [www.alt-codes.net], that's what I usually do.
