when you get so far into a game. sometimes it will try and load something. but due to the advancement's of newer versions of window's. the game get's confused. leading to a crash.
you can access the DEP setting's by going into system properties - performance settings - and you'll find the option there. (data execution prevention) make sure to select the second option and then add GTA SA's execrable to the list. a lot of gamer's will tell you to do this as DEP option 1 is nutritious for crashing 32 Bit application's at random or all the time from around 1995-2009. you'll be just fine with windows protection. or whatever you use to protect your PC.
I'm not really planing on updating this guide anytime soon but DEP stands the same to this day depending on the game or application.
