How to Extract Re-mastered Music from C&C

Allows user to play the audio files without having the game open. This method extracts the Music .MEG file located in the Command & Conquer™ Remastered Collection folder.

How to Extract Re-mastered Music from C&C

1. Download a copy of OSBIGEditor64Bits.zip located at the following website -

https://www.ppmsite.com/osbigeditorinfo/

2. Extract OSBIGEditor64Bits.zip into any folder you choose and run bigeditor.exe

3. In the program Select File --> Open -->.

4. Navigate to
Default install directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\CnCRemastered\Data

or

Custom location for game install files.

5. Select "MUSIC.MEG"

6. Select all the files in the left tab that have the file extension ".WAV"

7. Drag and drop the highlighted files to your desktop.

8. Extracted music will be located in a folder on the desktop called DATA
(Specific directory is Desktop\DATA\AUDIO\MUSIC)

9. Enjoy Hell March Remastered. :)

@El Culiao: I'm wondering the exact same thing, since i've noticed that a few unreleased tracks are missing from both the original C&C1 and RA1 OSTs, such as the "/w sfx" (not the shitty variation obviously, the one demonstrated in the link) version of the " In Trouble " song for instance.

These instructions are outdated. Steps 6 and 7 no longer work.
You can no longer drag and drop the files to desktop.
Instead, step 6 should be:
6. Click on Edit > Extract All, and choose a folder to save all the WAV files to.

Ay how does someone extract the annoyncer sound files. I want GLaDOS to emotionaly barate me as i deploy a helicopter

@[QuestVR] PixelWarrior No. Having done this months ago I had to convert them from WAV to FLAC and then edit every single tag. Took quite a bit of time.
