The Chimera Table

Beskrivning

Considerate Transmutation!
The Chimera is a customizable table, featuring a small widget to toggle extensions, and modular slim containers that can be embedded along the table / player inserts. Designed for 6 players. Compatible with One World.

Setting Up
  • Clicking on the "Ext A" / "Ext B" buttons on the UI widget will toggle the respective extensions, storing any items on top of them.
  • The template mat over the table can be deleted or customized to load your own images. The chat command matlock will toggle it to be non interactive as to avoid accidental unlocks.
  • By default, all player inserts have their corresponding containers slotted. You may delete, copy, rename or tint them as desired in order to have sleeker bags.

Changing Colors
  1. Type chimeralock in chat to toggle the interactivity of the Chimera Table.
  2. Right click on the table / extensions and choose Tint to change the color.
  3. After you are done tweaking, use the chimeralock command once again.

Experiencing a bug of some kind. The banner in the top left where you toggle the extensions on and off is now a large white box. If I put my mouse in just the right place I can still toggle the buttons, but it seems that I can't reset this even with reloading the save.

This really sucks because I've imported quite a few assets, moved the hands zones, and changed some colors for a multi-game ready setup I was working on.

Love the table. It's hard to describe how perfect it is for what i use it for. But I'm wondering if you are aware of the card/deck bug?

In case anyone needs it, looks like this table custom image dimensions are 2550 x 1500 pixels or any similar ratio of 1.7:1

Observations on the advantages and disadvantages of this table, relative to Lily's more famous Kraken Table:

Advantages relative to Kraken:

1. Significantly greater power to edit the table itself

2. Model for table doesn't distort light from light-emitting objects

3. Table handles a projected image much better than the Kraken, which distorts and dims it

4. Comes with its own storage units to help players organize their personal items

Disadvantages relative to Kraken:

1. Smaller than the Kraken

2. Significant scaling issues with the vector pen tool -- the minimum size of the pen is extremely large. This is a significant drawback relative to the Kraken and makes this otherwise promising table regrettably-situational.

I do not think you can use this table for ready-made games, you would need to get all the items in the game you want to use this table with, save them to your Saved Objects folder, load this table, and then upload all the objects on to the new table from your Saved Objects folder.

Hello. How to use this table in ready-made games like Inish where you already have your own table?
Green Mohawk Derg 9 jul, 2023 @ 4:21
I placed items in the player zones, I locked them, I can't draw on them, the drawing floats in the air as if the player zone was protected by a transparent glass box, the rest of the table seems to work ok

Any ideas how to fix this?

Is there any way I can find this same table but double the size?

Does anybody know how i can stretch out a picture to the full size of the mat? Thanks in advance. By the way this is the best table for TTS

Great looking table, I plan to use it to set some games up on, I wonder if there's any way to edit the wood texture though, not a tint as that doesn't work quite as well as just replacing the texture with a nice black or deep red
