If the game does not recognize your monitor's resolution you may edit it in a text file which is located in ...\The Void\Data\rcfg.xml

Simply change the "Width" and "Height" to desired numbers.

If you have such a wish, you might apply this little patch to disable head bobbing and increase FOV from 73 to 83:

Simply put player.bin in .../The Void/data/Scripts/ folder.

Steam's English, German and Russian versions of the game are the "remastered" edition, which unfortunately contains much less and more straightforward dialogues. You might want to try to play the original version for multiple reasons.

The Void is a challenging game and the difficulty is a part of fun in this game. Nonetheless, if you find yourself struggling too much to the point the game irritates you, some patches making playthrough easier are available.
