Just a little introduction
This guide has been made in hope to reduce toxicity in the game and let people just genuinely enjoy every single match, event, quest etc. I have seen that so many players overreact way too much if they lose a single match. I believe people should not be that serious when it comes to games. If someone loses a match, they would blame their teammate or a card or the other team or just the game or something else entirely which I find both, interesting and sad. Some content of this guide contain sarcasm and some mildly offensive stuff. Please read at your own risk because I will not be responsible for any triggered person. Thank you for your understanding.

The very basic yet useful knowledge
  • Accept that it's just a game.
First and foremost, your mind must accept that you are just playing a game. An online game with real players, yes but still, it's just a game and it can't hurt you or make you feel angry unless you forget the fact that it's just a game. There are many things in the world to worry about, a game doesn't have to be one of them (unless you're a developer). Always remember that games are meant to be played for fun, not to get mad over them.
  • The Global Chat - Explained!
Everyone has access to the global chat except for the people that have been banned from using it. The global chat is made of trolls, experienced players, advertisers, 'wanna-be' politicians, helpful players, conspiration theorists, newbies, 'wanna-be' philosophers, spammers, developers, moderators and the people that don't speak English. Feel free to jump right in but with caution. If you are too sensitive or are easily offended, ignore the global chat at all cost.
  • Understanding wins and losses...
You just can't win matches every single time - try to get that sentence deep inside your head and let it stay there. On every match, there is a winner and a loser. That is just how it is. You may feel good if you win but your opponent may not feel the same. You may feel like you have lost a match due to some unfair causes / bugs / hacks / poor teammate etc. but this is just how games work - sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. If everyone wins every single match, there will be no opponent to play against that are real humans.
Know your triggers and work on them
  • Frustrating game modes...
You may not like some of the game modes Minion Masters has to offer, that could make you angry but there's a simple solution to that - avoid playing those game modes. For example, in Draft, you can lose your Gold or Rubies. You may blame it on not receiving good random cards but nobody forced you to play that particular game mode. Random Team Battle is where I see that most people get angry with their teammates. Keep in mind, if you want someone to play exactly like the way you want, you can always play Premade Team Battle with voice or text chat with a friend. Let random people play as they like to play, there's nothing wrong with that. If that still bothers you so much, there are many other game modes you can play with all by yourself, which is probably for the best in cases like that.
  • Mean people in the global chat or guild.
As I said before, you can always ignore the chat. You can mute the people that are mean to you by clicking on their name and selecting Mute but I suggest that you ask yourself why they were mean to you in the first place. Ignoring bullies is always a good idea in my opinion. If your fellow guild members are mean to you for not contributing any glory to the guild, you should probably leave that guild and not join any new ones unless you're gonna actually going to contribute some glory to the guild you're in. If you do contribute to the best of your abilities but your guild members are still mean to you, I'd suggest finding another guild that is more friendly and welcoming. Be free of any guild of negativity.
  • Something you disagree with!
There could be so many things in the game that you don't agree with. Specific cards, game modes, currencies and other players are just a few of them. Sometimes there's nothing you can do about these things and you just have to accept that. Please try not to spam Pings during random Team Battles if you don't like the way your teammate is playing, that will most likely just make the match worse for you and your teammate. Also, try not to give up while you're playing a match with a teammate, fight to the very end even if you lose. You can do whatever you want when you're playing alone. Because at least that's not going to ruin another person's experience.
Becoming a better and a happy person
  • Remember what you really want to do...
It is important to know what you want to do though. If you don't care about ranks or levels and are just looking to have some fun, you can try out all of the modes this game has to offer and maybe look at the chat to see what people are talking about. If you are a streamer, I think it's best to show your viewers how to keep calm during matches and not get into arguments. If you're a competitive player and are always looking to stay on top, you should already know that losing matches just makes you better and a more experienced player as you can switch cards to adapt to different situations in various matches and see which one of your decks work best at the moment. Whether you're a popular streamer or a very competitive player or just an average person looking to have some fun in this game, I don't see any reason to be mad at something or someone (if you have read everything I have written in this guide). And if there's no reason to get mad, you're just going to be happy and have fun playing the game.
  • Stay far away from the negativity!
I'll say it again, it's just a game. Games are meant to be played for fun. So try to have fun in the game. Be nice to everyone but don't expect everyone to be nice to you, make good use of your mute list if you have to. Feel free to use the global chat but only if you're not easily offended or are too sensitive. Never blame your teammate for a loss, try to understand that everyone makes mistakes and you are also responsible for that loss whether you like it or not, team games need teamwork from the entire team, naming, shaming and blaming does not help at all. Remember that you can always play solo and against bots. However, if you absolutely can't help but get angry at so many things in the game, it's best to quit playing it for a while or permanently, which should stop the negativity from spreading in your mind as well as in this game's community.
  • Do not mind losing matches, it's a part of every game.
I don't think I need to talk about top players here because most of them are mature enough to know that you learn from every loss and try to get better in order to stay on top. As for regular players that complain all the time in the global chat about their teammate being bad... well, it took two person to win that game and other two to lose the game. Maybe your teammate did actually do something wrong but that doesn't mean that you had played perfectly. In any case, there's no need to blame your teammate, your teammate will probably not even going to see your message. If you want your teammate to play a specific kind of deck or in a specific way, you need to stop playing random Team Battles and start playing Premade Team Battles with a good friend of yours who is willing to follow your every command. Last but not least, for regular people that don't care about ranks or levels and play the game just to have fun, you have my respect.
Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Why does this feel like a rant?
    • Because it kinda is a rant but not entirely, of course. I don't see anything wrong with that.
  2. How is this supposed to help people?
    • If enough people understand everything and stop taking games so seriously, it'll help reduce toxicity in online games. I don't expect a huge number of people, I'd consider my guide a success if it can change the mind of at least five people.
  3. You seem serious now but why you're such a troll in the global chat?
    • To be honest, it is because I have a lot of issues and trolling in the global chat gives me a bit of happiness. I like making people laugh but I never intentionally hurt anyone's feelings.
  4. A lot of the stuff sound repetitive, why though?
    • Yes, it may sound repetitive but it's really not if you take a closer look. It's just been done in many categories in order to make it easier for people to understand everything.
  5. Why is this section is named FAQ? Nobody has asked any of these questions frequently!

Should add instructions on how to block emotes and pings from teammates at the start. :V
a call to good sportsmanship is a dire need for over 10% of players

How the fuck I am responsible for that loss if my teammate just left the game??? How the fuck I am responsible for that loss if my teammate haven't played a single card sitting 2 minutes at 10 mana?

Well written and necessary for many people to understand (even though some most in need of those lessions wont gasp it as seen in the comments). The ideal of being a sportsman seems to be lost to many online players :steamsad:

The fact you took the time out of your life to write this whole thing is showing of your mental illness.

You might as well just post this rant to Facebook, it'll do just as much good there.
