Poor Performance Fix

I have a very high end PC yet I get very poor performance. After some tweaking, things improved tremendously for me (from 24 fps to 100 fps and from incredibly stuttering to very smooth with negligible tearing).

1. Set Framerate Cap to Off (For some reason this is very IMPORTANT!)
2. Using your GPU Driver Software (NVIDIA Control Panel or Nvidia Profile Inspector for me) to set Vsync to Fast

And voila!

Thank you so much - I was having the same problem to the point it was making me slightly nauseous, and this has completely solved it!

Works exactly as advertised, I'm experiencing a similar fourfold increase in framerates. Brilliant solution, OP!

It didn't work for me. What did work was to set the max frame rate of the card in nvidia control panel to 60. I also changed the v sync to fast as advised, so not sure if it's a combination of both....
