1) Smashing Entrance - Perform a Takedown through a wall.
2) Double Trouble - Perform a Double Takedown.
3) Unstoppable - Destroy a locked door.
4) Scavenger - You searched real hard and found 2000 credits hidden in the world!
5) Smackdown - One by one, they fell by your hand. You performed 25 Takedowns!
6) Hack the Planet - You successfully hacked 10 devices without using an Auto-Hack. Very L337.
7) One Shot, One Kill - Perform a headshot on an enemy with the crossbow.
8) Bomb Squad - Beads of sweat dripping from your forehead, you disarmed a mine!
9) Not So Human After All - Spend 20 praxis points on Augmentations.
10) Crunch Time - Eat 25 energy bars.
11) Unlock the Power - Purchase 10 praxis kits.
12) It's Over 9000! - Spend 9001 credits in the store.
13) Stopping Power - Fully upgrade the damage of any shotgun.
14) Bye Bye, Big Brother - Use the stun gun to disable a security camera.
15) I Come In Peace - Turn a robot against its masters.
16) Total Evasion - Hide from an alerted guard until he loses interest and returns to his patrol.
17) Surprise Party - Perform a Takedown on a stunned enemy.
18) Hush Little Baby - Naptime! You attached the tranquilizer modification to the crossbow!
19) Tools of the Trade - You attached the silencer and a laser sight to one of your weapons!
20) Packing Heat - Own a rocket launcher and a plasma rifle.
21) Hard Times - You have got a problem. You found a can of beer in the trash and then drank it.
22) Bargain Hunter - You sly dog! You convinced Alvarez Araujo to give you a LIMB card for free!
23) Spilling the Beans - You tricked the Skulls leader Diego into exposing where he is getting his Riezene!
24) Boy Scout - You didn't accept a reward for helping Camila with her stalker problem! Such a nice boy!
25) Piss Off Barrett - You challenged Barrett's critcism for sparing Kontarsky and he wasn't too happy about it.
26) Completionist - Complete all the Side Quests in Panama.
27) Starting Off On the Right Foot - Mercifully, you completed the tutorial without killing anyone!
28) Natural Born Pacifist - Complete the entirety of the game without killing anyone.

1) Smashing Entrance

Smashing Entrance -Perform a Takedown through a wall.

Method 1:
Easiest way to get this achievement is to get to the slums level in a dead end that splits to a T - straight ahead is a back alley go to the far end and smash that wall. but be careful the other 3 enemies will attack, but you cannot kill any of them or make them hostile or the 1 enemy wont return.

Method 2:
During the Stalker side quest mission, hack into the room next to the quest area.

2) Double Trouble

Double Trouble - Perform a Double Takedown.

Easiest done in the xml building level. You will enter one door (make sure you're crouched or they will see you) there will be enemies standing side-by-side with their back to you. it is hard however to line up the cross-hairs just right to see the double takedown symbol.

3) Unstoppable

Unstoppable - Destroy a locked door.

All you need to do is throw a grenade at a hackable console (indestructible door will not work, obviously)

11) Unlock the Power

Unlock the Power - Purchase 10 praxis kits

The easiest way to get this achievement is to collect 2500credits. Once you have the credits, save the game and then purchase the praxis kit. Once you have purchased the kit, load the game and purchase it again.

All you need to do, to purchase a Praxis kit, is press "I", any time while playing. Then go to the menu to buy and upgrade weapons. On this page, you can change the tab to "Items". In the items tab, you will find the Praxis Kit. When you buy a Praxis kit, you will get one augmentation point.

Repeat this process 10 times to get the achievement.

Side Note: This trick works when the guide was created, not sure if they will fix this trick in a future patch

13) Stopping Power

Stopping Power - Fully upgrade the damage of any shotgun.

If you're not using shotguns during your play-through, I would recommend collecting 1200 credits and then upgrade the first shotguns damage three times (3 x 400credits). Once you have received the achievement, load your game.

15) I Come In Peace

I Come In Peace -Turn a robot against its masters.

The easiest area to get this achievement is on the final level of xml building 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.

16) Total Evasion

Total Evasion - Hide from an alerted guard until he loses interest and returns to his patrol.

Easy achievement, all you need to do is run in front of a guard, so he goes red on the mini map. Then run away from the guard and go into a vent or small hole to hide in. Just wait until the guard(s) on the mini map turn from Red -> Yellow -> Green. You will then get the achievement

17) Surprise Party

Surprise Party - Perform a Takedown on a stunned enemy.

All you need to do is throw a concussion grenade at an enemy and then perform a takedown. Find a single, non-hostile, policy officer and throw a grande at him. Then take him down for the achievement. Reload the game once you get the achievement.

21) Hard Times

Hard Times - You have got a problem. You found a can of beer in the trash and then drank it.

This one is not straight forward, and it has been difficult to obtain. I would recommend doing the following:

1) Drink all the beer you have, so you have nothing in your inventory
2) Go to the slums and look for garbage/trash cans. I think it matters what you loot from.
3) Do not press E or "Take All" button, select the item individually
4) Drink the beer from your inventory.

Here Is how I got it:

1) Go to the Slums
2) Drink all beer
3) Turn right, trash can in front of you
4) Loot trash can, take beer and drink it

22) Bargain Hunter

Bargain Hunter - You sly dog! You convinced Alvarez Araujo to give you a LIMB card for free!

To get this achievement, you do not need pheromones, which can be purchased from the social augmentations. The social augmentation just makes the achievement easier to get.

This has been confirmed by myself and other users from the comments. You just need to pick the best options, pick what you think the person wants to hear.

23) Spilling the Beans

Spilling the Beans - You tricked the Skulls leader Diego into exposing where he is getting his Riezene!

To get this achievement, you do not need pheromones, which can be purchased from the social augmentations. The social augmentation just makes the achievement easier to get.

Exact Dialogue needed (No pheromones):
1. Appease.
2. Direct.
3. Deflect.
4. Bait.

24) Boy Scout

Boy Scout - You didn't accept a reward for helping Camila with her stalker problem! Such a nice boy!

All you need to do is talk to Camila again after you have completed her main story quest. When you talk to her, reject any reward she offers you.

If you want the reward, and the achievement. Save the game before talking to her so you can load after you have gotten the achievement

25) ♥♥♥♥ Off Barrett

Piss Off Barrett

Once you complete the first mission, you spawn on the aircraft. All you need to do is go into the next room and talk to Barrett. You will get two options, pick "Challenge" or "insult" and you will get the achievement.

26) Completionist

Completionist - Complete all the Side Quests in Panama.

This achievement might be the hardest (most annoying?), just because it is very easy to mess up and require you to start from the very beginning of the game. If you fail a quest, and then go to a different area, you will be unable to try again, because there is only one save slot. If you fail the quest, it will disappear from the active quests, and will not show up as completed. There is no way to re-initiate the quest again.

I would recommend turning out auto save, just to be on the safe side. Only save the game when the quest is listed on the "complete" quest tab.

Side quests in order of availability:
1 - Drug Runner - Talk to Alvarez after your initial conversation with him and ask about a job. You will get a main quest to talk to him. He is the doctor in the slums. After you get the main quest from him, talk to him one more time and ask if there is any work you can do.

2 - Missing Junkie - Right after you talk to Alvarez, and leave the clinic. You should be able to talk to a lady outside the clinic, in the slums. She is looking for her friend with robotic legs.

3 - Ratting Out - After you leave the LIMB clinic, a cop will ask you to help him. Please note, if you warn Alvarez that the cops are after him, you will fail the quest and it will not be considered as completed.

4 - Dirty Deeds - You can get this quest when you meet Cobra. You can get this side quest during the “Secure Neuropozyne” main mission

5 - The final side quest is given by Camila after you have completed the first main quest for her. You will need to talk to her after completing the quest

28) Natural Born Pacifist

Natural Born Pacifist - Complete the entirety of the game without killing anyone

This one is actually surprisingly easy. Only use the stun gun and the quick take downs. The thing that makes this super easy, is that the bodies disappear after a few seconds, and there is no way for the sleeping bad guys to die later on in the game (Issue with Deus Ex: HR).

When given the option to let someone live, or kill them, you should know what to do :)

As for Natural Born Pacifist, contrary to what happens in DSHR and DXMD, killing someone through wall with the Punch Through Wall augment, does not prevent you from getting that achievement.

Might be worth adding that detail as in both Human Revolution and Mankind Divided you forfit that achievement with accidental kill through wall. In here it does not matter (personally i was a bit afraid of that)

For Packing Heat achievement you can probably get enough credits in 1 playthrough by:
-Knocking out/killing every enemy as they sometimes drop 30-80 credits each
-Search trash cans as they may have 30-100 credits
-Look through dressers in key areas, they may have a couple hundred
-Accept all credit rewards from the 2 sidequests (be sure to save and reload for 'Boy Scout' achievment)
-Complete all sidequests for hefty amounts of credit

In my playthrough I managed to rack up 10k credits and went newgame+ to get the final 1k credit.

On ''Bargain Hunter'' step 5, you have 2 choices, and if you follow all the other steps, you can choose either of the two on step 5

The achievement "Piss off Barrett" requires you to spare the russian guy at the end of the tutorial mission in Moscow, otherwise Barrett will just ignore your insult.

Just finished a game yesterday, got all the achievements in one playthrough (with some saveloads). Thanks for the guide. Everything is working, though sometimes you need to drink a beer in game for achievement to pop in steam.

Credits and augmentations do carry over to New Game+ if anyone's wondering.
