This is very logic but sometimes even if not followed you should close the door so a random zombie, that not have to be looking for you, dont enter and make the house his new path.
Step 9 - Infection Risk
Try to avoid bites and check your items and infection risk bar. Riot clothes can defend you better against other players but make you more slow and weak to zombies.
Meanwhile the hazmat suit makes you more durable to those deadly bites. Anyway my favorite its the motorbike helm, because has melee defense bonus.
If you are infected (worst vision and inversed controls) theres no cure, you will die soon.
If you have to explore a house and dont want the Zs to follow you try to walk crouched so you dont make loud sounds that they can hear. And if they are looking to another way like a wall you can even go very near for a sneaky kill.
Fireguns do very noise, try to use bows or no attack after all. Only killing when necesary can save you from starting an horde.
Of course zombies following you will call more so if you are already spotted try to leave the zone.
Step 7 - Lights
Fire and Lantern attracts more zombies. If you dont fear the night, go dark. Staying the night in a house with no light and crouched in a room out of sights from the windows is like telling the zombies, theres no brains here.
