Recommended Solutions
Port-forwarding ensures the best performance and connectivity to your server, without relying on third-party software. In most cases, you'll only have to perform this step once.

If you're familiar with this, forward UDP port 27015.

NOTE: NMRiH does not support Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), manual forwarding is required.

Alternative Solutions
In case of aggressive types of NAT (ex. Carrier-grade NAT[en.wikipedia.org]), or if you're in LAN without access to the router, you may have to resort to alternative hosting solutions. Please note that third-party software or services may negatively alter the game experience.

These methods are unsupported, insecure, and may not withstand NMRiH's networking requirements, therefore they're not listed here.
