So it begins

So you've paid 5 bucks to get Operation Harsh Doorstop, you've downloaded it, and now you're wondering how you can get in on the action. You check the multiplayer and see all the official servers are empty. Oh no!

So you check the single-player tab, load in, and spawn in, but the map is dead quiet. How do you actually get into the action? Well have no fear, I will walk you through the simple process of spawning in however many bots that you want.

First you've downloaded the wrong version of the game. You need to go and download the test environment version. This version is the version that you can use to spawn in bots to play with and is the version that this guide works on.

Apparently now this works on the main version now too but I have not tested it yet.

Setting the Amount of bots.

The first step to this process is opening up the console, which you do by pressing ` on your keyboard. On my keyboard it sits right above the tab key. This opens up the console and allows you to tell control the game.

Next you're gonna want to type in without the quotes: "net.MinPlayersOverride 16" 16 can be any number, but I've found that any more than 16 for me takes the fps from 60 down to 15, so try it out to see how many you need.

Next you need to set the maximum amount of players to the same amount by typing in without the quotes: "net.MaxPlayersOverride 16" which sets the maximum players to 16. Again 16 can be any number but make sure that it is the same amount as what you set the minimum player count to.

Turning Bots on and Starting up a Game

Okay, now you need to tell the game that you want bots, so you type in the console without the quotes: "Bot.autofill 1"

Finally, you type in the console without the quotes: "open fallujah" to open any map you want with some bots added in for you to fight.

You can do this with any map, and below is a list of the commands for each map that is currently in the game.

open khafji_p
open fallujah
open lamdong
open montecassino
open argonne
open AAS-Testmap

to reiterate, in order to add bots, all you need to do is type in the console:

net.MinPlayersOverride 16
net.MaxPlayersOverride 16
bot.Autofill 1
open fallujah

fin

Voila you've done it!

Now you can experience Operation: Harsh Doorstop all on your own!

Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk

In case anyone was unclear, you no longer need to do this. Single player works fine straight from the menus.

I don't think getting extra ammo is coded yet, so to get around this go into the console, hit backquote key: " ` " (on my UK keyboard) and type: " ToggleGunInfiniteAmmo " and then ENTER. Don't include the double quotes, BTW, they're just there to show what is typed.

This cheat means you still need to change mags, but you won't run out of them and wonder where to get new ones when there aren't any yet. You'll need to do this for every new life.

PS When extra ammo collection is implemented, let me know.
