A Set of Basic Factory Blueprints

A set of my favorite blueprints for some standard factory lines. Helpful for moving in and industrializing a new system from scratch

Introduction
This is a collection of blueprints for basic factories or infrastructure that I've found useful. I hope you think they're useful, too. These setups are designed to take the load off your mech by automating production of common materials without taking up an unreasonable amount of construction space, or to expedite late-game manufacturing setups. These factories are quick and dirty setups that are not especially optimized, but should be modular enough to easily modify/upgrade as needed.

Importing Blueprints
Using any blueprints requires unlocking the blueprint technology in-game. Most of the included blueprints will also require some leveling up of the technology (to increase the build limit), as well as unlocking the corresponding material/building technologies.

To add blueprints to your game, copy the .txt file(s) into your game's blueprints directory, which is found at:

C:\Users\<current user>\Documents\Dyson Sphere Program\Blueprint

example:

For Linux users the directory path is: steamapps/compatdata/1366540/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Dyson Sphere Program/Blueprint

Tips
- If you're having trouble placing a blueprint try moving away from any bodies of water, existing power structures, or planetary zone borders

- If your current research is below the facility limit for a blueprint, but it's close, you can try making a temporary copy of the blueprint (so you don't affect the original), erasing a certain type of component by right-clicking the icon in the right-side menu (i.e. sorters), then manually placing the components that you deleted after the rest of the factory is done being constructed.

- If you haven't yet researched the required level of an item in a blueprint (i.e. mk2 conveyors), or you simply can't make one right now for some reason, you can still place the blueprint then use the upgrade/downgrade tool to bring the missing buildings down to whatever level you can create (use the shift-key to highlight entire conveyor belt sections). Mind that downgrading parts of factories may create bottlenecks, though.

Updates:
- (2.14.22) Minor updates to the following factories: battery, titanium crystal, titanium alloy, magnetic ring, organic crystal, broadband cable, solar sail, quantum chip, deuteron fuel rod
- (2.15.22) Moderate re-work of graviton lens factory to better fit within planetary grids
- (2.27.22) Corrected sorter directions in quantum chip factories
- (3.10.22) Updated Sorter Factory to only use one input for each resource
- (10.22.23) Minor updates to frame factory, solar panel factory, graphene factory
- (8.9.24) Added combat blueprint section (missile factory, combat base factory, prototype factory)

as equator lines i wouldnt prefer a sole line but a BUS system.
( stacked splitters with 2 clicks distance of each; sorta "Ressource highway", whatever is goin around, there it goes)

@CptVodka
I'm not seeing any problems with re-importing these blueprints right now, and the original files in my game don't appear to have have changed over time with updates (local and uploaded versions are identical). It does look like that error can occur if/when the contents of the text file are modified, though (such as trying to manually rename a blueprint from outside the game). Maybe try downloading fresh copies of the hosted files and copying them directly into the blueprints directory?

I just tried a blueprint and when trying to access it ingame i can see the blueprint in the blueprint manager, but as a i click it it only shows "Corrupted file"

I just wanted to say thank you so much! I enjoy this game, but I'm not very good at it. A lot of the popular blueprints don't add descriptions so I don't know what materials to add to them to get them started and that makes me wary of using them. Yours are so clear and helpful before I even have to build them! They're for sure my go-to blueprints. If you have any others you want to share, I bet they'd be great as well. Keep up the amazing work!

So i was planning to make all of my own blueprints. but school starts soon and i've already spent 40 hours designing blueprints for all of the matrix's so. Thanks

Here's a link to the main Google Drive folder; I think that should allow you to download in bulk if you want.
