FOR NEWCOMERS TO ASHWORLD
1) Read the Quick Guide.
2) Explore the world (auto-map the entire map), learn what it takes to recruit all characters, see how the war evolves. Be prepared to lose games before you will be able to beat the enemy!
3) Read the FAQ-guides if you need more information about particular game elements.


RECRUITMENTS OF CHARACTERS
1) Plan the way you spread controlled characters to reach and recruit other characters as fast as possible.
2) Try to recruit all available characters! Help ktirs in their war!
3) Use wizards smartly to reach distant characters. They are not in danger from the night beast attacks and most of them can renew their strength with magic.
4) Buy magic items "lightness of hastiness" which enables faster traveling!


ENEMY ENGAGEMENTS
1) Do not just gather armies in royal cities and wait there for the enemy! The enemy is approaching with many armies, some are bigger, other are smaller. Destroy the smaller enemy armies first, one by one, while keeping your distance from the stronger enemies. This is the key tactic for success!
2) Characters with more experience and courage should command bigger armies! Give them also the magic items which further improve personal traits.
2) Keep your forces in good strength before entering battles!


OTHER ADVICE
1) Bigger armies should have a supply unit (or more of them) with them when moving around. Smaller armies can often go without it at smaller distances.
2) Search all ruins and old temples on your way for magic items!
3) Wizards with the capture skill should capture only stone gorons and sand gorons. Other beasts are not comparable in strength.
