How to resurrect unique NPCs

Let's say you "accidentally" killed every unique NPC and you regret that decision or you just hate a certain unique NPC and you want to watch them die over and over again. This guide should help you bring unique NPCs back to life!

1. Save file location

The path to your save file is:
C:\Users\(Your username)\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Cruelty Squad
2. Opening the save file
Make sure to make a back up of savegame.save file in case if something goes wrong!

Open savegame.save file with your notepad or any other program that opens text files.

If you did everything correctly you should be greeted with this wall of text.

3. Editing the save file
Look for the part where it says "Dead npcs".


Now simply remove the names of people you've killed and save that file. If everything goes correctly your buddies will come back to life!

If you're on windows, go to View>show>Hidden Items
in file explorer to see the appdata folder.

what if i can't find my way into appdata?

yeah, i reverted to a backup when i realized the edit dident do what i wanted
i deleted the names and tried to not delete anything else and they were still gone.
i quit the game and checked the file and their names were still gone.

This can also be used to resurrect/kill the Limit Chancellor (string is "Limit Chancellor") in Trauma Loop.
