Intro

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure contains 62 different animals for you to find around the island, and this guide lists all of them, telling you where and how to find each animal.
In Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, the island where the game is set is thriving with all kinds of animals, and one of your tasks is to find and identify all the animals you come across. Altogether, there are 62 different animals. You’ll mostly find birds, but there are other animals too, including dolphins, cats, chickens, and the legendary Iberian Lynx. A lot of the animals can be found all over the island, but some can only be found in specific places, or you have to play the story to find them.
Near the beginning of the game, you’ll receive the wildlife guide, which includes information about all 62 animals that you can find around the island. As you find and identify animals using the in-game phone’s camera, it’ll be checked off in the guide book, so you can track which animals you’ve already found and which ones you have left to find. The animals in the guide book are divided up by the type of area they can be found in, such as marshland or beach. However, some animals can be found anywhere on the island.

With 62 animals to find, this task can seem quite daunting, so this guide will help you track down all the animals that can be found in Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, including any information on how and where they can be found.
Note that this guide may contain spoilers for the game’s story.

In the story, you’ll hear that the dolphin you previously helped rescue has reappeared at the same place. Travel to La Roqueta and head around to the beach behind the restaurant. You’ll find the dolphin swimming around in the water.

On the beach off the path from the terraces, in the bare tree. You may also see it when you look out of the castle windows.

Audouin’s Gull

Found around any of the beaches.

You can only get the lynx towards the end of the game. It’ll appear during the fire. Alba will appear with the lynx and her young, giving you the opportunity to snap a photo of the legendary animal.

Go to the construction site. You should hear an animal crying out. This is the owl; it needs help. Get up to the owl and help free it, then you can take its photo.

Epilogue

These are all 62 of the animals you can find and identify in Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, including the rarest ones. While some animals only appear after you complete a task or part of the story, or they only appear in certain areas of the island, some animals can be found all over the island, so keep your eyes open! When you find all 61 animals (excluding the super rare lynx), you’ll get a special reward!

If you reach the end of the game and you haven’t managed to find all the animals, don’t fret! After you’ve finished the game’s story, you can continue to play in Free Play mode, so you will be able to explore the whole island and track down those last animals you need to check off in your wildlife guide.

This guide is incorrect about the location of the European Shag. It's only on 'La Roqueta.' It's sitting on a buoy next to the dolphin.

for the barn owl if you go the the construction site even after its been taped off the owl will land on top of the hotel advert sign just outside where the police women stands

The peregrine falcon is definitely not in the area behind the fence at the castle. It circles in the air without landing, north of the castle, you have to climb the ramparts in order to be able to zoom in enough to snap it.

The only place I could find the European Shag was at the smaller Island 'La Roqueta' near where the dolphin was found, not the main Island - there were only cormorants on the main island.
