Extra Life Locations

A simple guide to show where the extra life is located in each mission. Some are obvious, others maybe not as obvious or if you are in a rush you might drive right past. These can be quite useful when playing on Hardcore difficulty.

I have tried to overlay the map in each image so you can use that as a reference as well.

Mission 1 - Baptism of Fire
Right as the carrier battle begins and you get the helo for the first time this extra life is located on an island west of the carrier.
Mission 2 - Moths to the Flame
After saving the village from being burned down by the APC's and on the way to the next key card this one is located in front of a ramp.
Mission 3 - The Phoenix's Nest
Just before you hit the switch to cross over the carrier this extra life is located behind the crane.
Mission 4 - Fire Hazard
Once the train appears and you must destroy it this extra life can be found off to the side of the southern track.
Mission 5 - Burning Bridges
After rescuing Bryant you'll next need to rescue the President. You will encounter a missile tank blocking an intersection. Follow the path to the west and go up the ramp to the roof and the extra life.
Mission 6 - The Cauldron
Just about the time Natasha needs help you will encounter a pair of guard posts. Follow the railroad track to the extra life.
Mission 7 - To Catch Fire
Just before the fight with the Juggernauts, Bryant will clear a path through the forest into a small Inferno camp. The extra life is inside the camp.
Mission 8 - From the Ashes
As you progress through the level you will encounter a pair of guard posts. To the right will be a clearing in the forest with the extra life.
Mission 9 - The Furnace
As you come to the end of the part of the mission where you have to dodge the smelting pots a door will open in front of you. Turn right before that door to find the extra life.
Hidden Area
This is not an extra life but in mission 9 very close to the start is a red button on the floor. Drive over it and then drive back to the start on the right hand side a door will have opened. Enter for the ultimate challenge.

Coldstrike DLC - Cold War
As you progress through the level you'll have to deal with SAM sites. Before crossing the bridge grab the extra life tucked behind a high rise.
Coldstrike DLC - Frost Shock
Right after Bryant messages about the helicopter drop this extra life can be found next to the platform. If you reach the actual heli drop you have gone too far.
Coldstrike DLC - Lady Winter
Right before planting the bomb on the rocket drive south to find the extra life. Do NOT plant the bomb first as you will be moved to the Panzerwurm battle right after.
