Ultra Performance Improvement and Optimization for Robocop Rogue City By Fertlou
By Fertlou
This is an optimization mod for Robocop: Rogue City, which attempts to modify the game's configuration files to improve commands and improve performance in exchange for losing graphic quality, it is up to you to use it or not.

OPTIMIZATION BUG
Supposedly, if you set the "TSR" rescaling option (not taa) if you leave it between 50 - 75 resolution, the image almost does not change and the performance increase is incredible!
Download and installation
1. Download the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/robocoproguecity/mods/13?tab=description&BH=3
2. Unzip the mod
- We will have the file called "engine.ini", we have to move it to another folder
3. We go to our desktop and in the Windows search engine we search for “run
4. We write in the "run" that opened at the bottom left of the screen "appdata"
5. Now a folder has been opened, we need to find the graphics configuration path of our robocop, the path is: "Local\RoboCop\Saved\Config\Windows"
6. We drag the modified "engine.ini" mod to your graphics settings folder and replace it
-------------------------------------‎------------------------------------------------------------------
Ready! That would be all the installation of the mod, now enjoy more fps in this beautiful game.

@Himitsu: TSR is Epic's Unreal Temporal Super Resolution Upscaler. The reason you get a performance boost at 50 is because the game is rendering at half your resolution and then it upcales that to your display resolution. Similar tech to AMD's FSR, Nvidia's DLSS or Intel's XeSS. The upscaling process also reduces aliasing.

The catch? Certain noise in the image in some situations.

In my opinion AMD users should stick to TSR in Robocop Rogue City. Nvidia users should obviously use DLSS or DLAA.

I might be getting this totally wrong, but pretty sure TSR runs the game at a lower res (at whatever percentage you chose, like 50%), and then uses some fancy high tech algorithm to create a image for your screen resolution. So TSR at 50%, while playing on a 1440p screen, would render the game at roughly 1080p, and then sharpen the image.
I might actually do this too, Im getting about 90 - 120 fps on a 7900XTX. The game doesn't look bad, but doing this rescaling thing probably wouldn't affect visual fidelity much.

No idea what the second part of this post is about honestly, is TSR not already present in game ?

Oh boy, the first tip helped me a lot, now I have 60 smooth fps no matter what's going on on the screen and that's with epic-high graphics settings! Thank you :8bitheart:

Thanks for this, what actually is TSR? If I put this on at 50, I get from like 30fps and stuttering at times (light) to smooth 60fps locked! I can't see any visual difference on 1440p?
