Thank you French-Bread for making it easy 🦅
Quick note, there might be some minor visual glitches in the intro. This is probably just because it's not the actual opening. Also, the volume will be low in game so make sure to turn up the video's volume or use volume mixer.
Step 1
Your video can be any resolution and duration but the best resolution to use is 1280x720. Once you have your video rename it to "UNI_OP.wmv" exactly. (Turn on file extensions if they aren't on).
Helpful Tip
If you do not want to validate the game to get the original intro back, then change the name of the original intro to "UNI_OP1.wmv" That way it will always be in the folder just remember to delete the 1.
Step 2
Now open up your game files as shown in the picture. Then open the "movie" folder, after that drag the video you just renamed into the movie folder. Voila you have done it.

A pity that there is only one opening movie in the movies folder. Rest is encrypted probably. Had to copy the movies from the previous game because UNI2 intro is not that good in comparison

@HyperbolianSpaceStoner if it has the wmv file video then yes it should work. Don't know for sure tho since I dont have clr.

Question, does this work for UNICLR? or is there a different method?

since this is about modding, i might as well also show off this if someone wants to do BGM edits: https://github.com/Fatih120/undernightinbirth/blob/master/README.md#bgm-editing
