Not working for me on i5-14600kf with 4070ti, im easily in the 130 - 180 fps range maxed out on 1440p, still moving camera around feels way lower :steamfacepalm:

I use Process Lasso Pro instead of Task Manager as it can apply rules to any process running and remember them. One of those rules can be about the CPU affinity. Another can be the power profile to use with the app. If you think it will help go to https://bitsum.com there is a free version you can try.

It's not helped for me, better with all number core

@TheLazyLazySeal Yep. Same CPU.

@Niko It's definitely not best practice, as stated, this is a temporary fix until the devs get it sorted. All though, plenty of other games that are 5+ years old have this issue and haven't been fixed but trying to stay hopeful.

I think It 'disabled" Hyperthreading (intel) or SMT (Amd Simultaneous Multithreading)
You can do it in the Bios
But some app prefers to use all core
It looks like a lot of game works better when you disable Hyperthreading / SMT

You can disable SMT on Steam deck

It might be that uneven cores has poorly optimized threads which might liead to stutters.
So yeah, if you set affinity for redistribution workloads for better optimized multithreaded cores, you might gain better performance. Yet, this might not be the best practice due to even cores will now do double the work that was set for uneven cores on cpu which could lead to hotter cpu temperature, so be aware of that
